Time passes steadily, and they reach the future that once seemed far away. The seasons have changed twice, and many things also change in the meantime. Slowly yet splendidly, like a bud that sprouts overnight and grows into a beautiful branch.
Karlyle's belly has gotten round as Bonbon grows. The elegant and handsome noble, who never had to rely on anyone, has learned to open his heart enough to take a nap with his cheek resting on his shoulder.
Karlyle is now able to sit comfortably in the chair he offers him, eat the figs he makes for him, and wait patiently for him to massage his hands and feet and apply cream to his belly before going to bed. Of course, whenever that happens, Karlyle will blush and slightly look away, but he loves it since he finds him cute.
And that isn't all.
They are now back in their home in London, not Bath. Their new house is in Hampstead Heath, not the old one in Notting Hill. Their three-story mansion is built on a quiet lot right on the park's doorstep with an outdoor pool and a garden.
Thanks to the innovations he made while they were in Bath, the house is filled with his ideas. The glass building, which is separated like an annex, is used as a lounge, and the third floor has a guest room and a multipurpose room. On the second floor is his workshop and Karlyle's office, and on the first floor is the kitchen, living room, the two bedrooms, and finally, Bonbon's room.
Waiting for Bonbon is different kind of fun every day. Karlyle's family has brought in some of the world's best baby furniture and strollers, whereas his family has arranged clothes for Bonbon by month. Diapers and wipes have also been prepared in advance.
Meanwhile, he decorates the baby room himself. He paints a picture on one side of the wall, installs a safety mat on the floor, and installs safety cameras in the corners of the room.
While he is busy running around, Karlyle sits in a place where he can see him well and reads a book for Bonbon. When the sun shines warmly, he will sometimes close his eyes for a moment while reading. Karlyle will never know how adorable he is when he falls asleep without even realizing it. His pale hands holding the book loosely, his quietly twitching upper body, his low mutters in dreams-they are all so lovely.
Oh, what a beautiful man his husband is.
Ash is always conflicted between the urge to share the loveliness of Karlyle Frost with everyone he meets and the desire to have this beautiful, sweet man all to himself.
Whenever he gets up to get Karlyle some water, he will walk slowly on purpose because he finds the gaze that follows him cute. When he cuts a fig and feeds it to Karlyle, his teeth behind his lips look like those of a rabbit, which makes the way he eats no different from a bunny. When he calls Karlyle by an awkward name and acts cute, his eyes will turn red, and Ash ends up calling him "husband" every day.
Back in the day when he didn't know Karlyle well, he thought he was a man with very little emotion. But that was a foolish judgement. His handsome Alpha has a variety of emotions hidden in his cold gray eyes.
And in this world, only he, Ash Jones, knows that.
Well, it'd be best to keep Karlyle to himself. This awesome-looking gentleman is a breathtakingly lovely man, and showing him off will only benefit others.
Today, he ends his worries with a definite answer. Ash smiles with satisfaction and comes out of the kitchen with a fig tart on the tray. He quietly walks to the bedroom so that there is no sound of slippers and peers through the open door.
The first thing he sees is a white blanket of cozy goose fur and then a spacious bed specially made to match their heights and weights. The well-organized, milky bedding shows the owner's personality.
