The night air was cool as Preeta and Savi strolled through the crowded streets of Chandigarh, the bright lights of the city illuminating their way.

Savi had been in an unusually cheerful mood ever since her meeting with Ishaan earlier that day.

"I still can’t believe you marched into Professor Bhosle’s office like that," Preeta said,

laughing as she nudged Savi playfully.

Savi grinned, flipping her hair dramatically.

"What can I say? The man needed a little push. Plus, I think he secretly enjoys the chaos I bring into his life."

Preeta shook her head, amused.
"Well, let’s hope your 'chaos' doesn’t get us into any trouble."

Just as they reached the café near their apartment, Preeta’s phone buzzed with a message from Karan:

"Meet me at the park near the library. I’ve found something. It’s urgent."

Preeta’s heart skipped a beat.

She glanced at Savi, her playful mood now replaced with concern.

"Karan’s found something. He wants to meet at the park."

Savi’s eyes widened. "Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!"

At the same time, Ishaan was sitting in his office, reviewing the documents Anjali had given him.

His eyes scanned the list of names, recognizing several prominent figures who had been involved in major scandals.

There was a knock on his door, and before he could respond, Anjali walked in, looking tense.

"Ishaan, we need to talk," she said, her voice low.

Ishaan set the documents aside. "What is it?"

Anjali glanced around the room before sitting down. "I’ve been hearing things. Rumors. People are starting to ask questions about what we’re doing."

Ishaan frowned. "Who’s asking?"

"People connected to the group your parents were investigating. They know we’re digging into the past," Anjali explained.

Ishaan’s jaw tightened. "So they’re watching us."

Anjali nodded. "Yes, and if we’re not careful, they’ll come after us just like they did with your parents."

For a moment, silence filled the room as Ishaan considered the weight of Anjali’s words. "We need to be smart about this. We can’t stop now."

Anjali looked at him, concern in her eyes. "Just promise me you’ll be careful, Ishaan. I don’t want to lose you too."
