The secrets had started to unravel, but with every revelation, the danger around Karan, Preeta, Ishaan, and Savi grew.

As they dug deeper into the past, it became clear that the web of deceit stretched farther than they could have imagined.

But amidst the tension and danger, emotions were starting to surface that none of them could deny.

The next day, Preeta woke up with a heavy heart, the conversation from the night before lingering in her mind.

She glanced over at Savi, who was still fast asleep, completely unaware of the storm that was about to hit them.

Preeta couldn’t shake the feeling that their lives were spinning out of control.

As she got dressed and prepared for the day,

her phone buzzed with a message from Karan:

"Meet me at the old archives at 4 PM. Found something. Don’t tell anyone else yet."

Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of seeing him.

Despite the chaos surrounding them, there was something about Karan that pulled her in—his intensity, his mysterious nature.

She couldn’t deny that her feelings for him were growing, even though she didn’t fully understand them.

---

Across town, Ishaan sat at his desk, staring at the same list of names that had haunted him since he’d received it.

He couldn't focus, his mind repeatedly drifting to Savi’s words from the night before:

“Maybe we’re meant to uncover something big together.”

He didn’t want to admit it, but she was right.

He was already too far in to back out now.

And somehow, against his better judgment, he found himself thinking about Savi more than he wanted to.

Her energy, her humor—it had all started to chip away at his cold exterior.

Just then, Anjali walked in, her expression grim. "Ishaan, we need to talk. Something doesn’t feel right."

Ishaan sighed, leaning back in his chair. "What now?"

Anjali sat down across from him, her voice low.

"I’ve been keeping an eye on the people you’ve been investigating. One of them made an unexpected trip—straight to the police station. I think they’re trying to cover their tracks."

Ishaan’s eyes narrowed. "They know we’re onto them."

Anjali nodded. "Which means we need to move faster before they erase everything."

Later that day, Preeta arrived at the old archives, her heart pounding as she made her way through the deserted hallway.

The place was dark, dusty, and smelled of history long forgotten.

Karan was already waiting for her, leaning against a bookshelf, his expression serious but softening the moment he saw her.

"Karan, what’s going on?" Preeta asked, her voice barely above a whisper as she approached him.

Karan handed her a file, his fingers brushing against hers for a moment longer than necessary.
