Days blend together in a haze of despair.

Mom and Dad's arguments escalate.

Their raised voices echo through the halls.

"You're always defending her!" Dad shouts.

"I'm defending the truth!" Mom retorts.

Their fights revolve around me.

Rahul's confession.

My depression.

Their inability to cope.

I feel guilty.

Trapped.

Helpless.

My journal becomes my refuge:

"Today, Mom cried in front of me.

Dad stormed out.

The silence is deafening.

I'm losing myself.

In their anger.

In my darkness.

I'm disappearing."

As the fights intensify, so does my depression.

I withdraw from friends.

From activities.

From life.

Dr. Patel's words echo:

"You're not alone, Evara."

But I feel isolated.

Abandoned.

One evening, Mom's tears fall beside me.

"Evara, I'm sorry. We're failing you."

Dad's absence speaks volumes.

I whisper, "It's not your fault, Mom."

But the weight of their failure crushes me.
