"Evening." Kaiba said smoothly as he propped himself up in the doorframe of Joey's bedroom.
The blonde instantly snapped out of his thoughts. "Did you get what I asked for?" The brunette spoke again.
Joey hopped off the bed and went over to his ruck sack on the table. Pulling out a collar and leash, Kaiba smirked. "Come with me." He said, turning and making his way to his own room. The blonde followed the CEO into the other room. Seconds after entering, he was slammed against the door, his wrists bound above his head. He gasped loudly as a pair of icy blue eyes were looking down on him. The brunette captured Joey's lips with his own, slipping his tongue into the other's mouth when he had the opportunity. He fought with Joey for dominance and after a quick victory, he explored every inch of the blonde's mouth. When the brunette pulled away for air, Joey took his chance to speak his mind.
"What is this?" He questioned.
"What do you think it is mutt?"
"I mean, we hate each other, why are we doing this and why are you encouraging it?"
"Mutt, I swear to you this isn't some twisted game. This is real." The CEO replied softly, running a hand through Joey's blonde locks. The blonde dove into Kaiba's azure eyes and saw only pure honesty. His head drifted with unanswered questions but the emotions he was feeling right now were far too powerful for anything to intervene.
"Now." Kaiba said, taking the collar and leash which was still under Joey's grip. "Don't want you getting lost do we?" He smirked, putting the collar over the blonde's head. He then pulled hard at the leash, jerking Joey forwards. "Good dog." The brunette smirked before meeting the other's lips again.
The sunlight peaked through the curtains and Joey began to stir. He fidgeted and yawned before noticing a strong pair of arms wrapped around his waist. He turned slightly and saw Kaiba sleeping. THE Seto Kaiba, peacefully adrift. The blonde had never seen anything like it before.
He chuckled lightly.
"Stop smiling Mutt, it's creepy."
"NYEH!" The blonde almost jumped out of his skin, realising the other was awake this whole time.
The brunette shot open his ocean blue eyes. "Calm down mutt." He said softly, releasing the younger from his hold.
"I am not a dog!" Joey protested.
"Trust me, you were last night." The CEO smirked.
Joey scoffed and Kaiba huffed in amusement.
Both their breathing was clearly audible and golden honey met ice blue. Holding their gaze for a moment, the pair wondered around in each other's minds.
But cutting their moment short, Joey winced and scrunched his eyes shut.
"What's wrong?" The brunette asked in his usual monotone voice, but there was clearly worry in his eyes.
"It hurts really bad today, I think it's because of how rough we did it last night." The blonde cringed.
"I'm sorry, we won't do it that way again." Kaiba said soothingly, kissing the blonde on the forehead.
Joey was completely dumbstruck.
"Am I actually hearing this? THE Seto Kaiba apologising?" he stuttered slightly.
"Treasure it mutt, it won't happen often."
"I am not a mutt!"
"No, you're my mutt." Kaiba placed his hand under Joey's chin and captured his lips. The ex-gang member smiled as he then pulled away and curled up in the other's chest.
The pair were peacefully enjoying each other's company, that is until there was a hollering knock at the door.
"Master Kaiba?" A voice broke from the other side of the door.
"A minute." The CEO convincingly hid the panic in his tone. He jumped up from the bed and gestured for Joey to hide under the covers. Pulling on his jeans, he looked over at the bed to see if the blonde was visible. Satisfied, he opened the door to see his butler with a huge smile on his face.
"I am terribly sorry to disturb you Sir, but I just received a call room the hospital. Master Mokuba is awake and well, ready to be discharged this evening."
"Prepare the car." Kaiba said, his tone softening slightly.
"Yes sir."
The CEO Shut the door and focused over towards the bed covers where Joey had just poked his head out from underneath the sheets.
"Hey, can I come to the hospital?"
"If you do, none of 'this' happened. Due to the situation with Mokuba I was emotional and decided to show some pity. We have rarely seen each other throughout these last few days and have just stayed out of each other's way. Understand?" The brunette said harshly whilst he moved over to his side of the bed, sitting on the edge and began pulling on his boots.
"So are you saying this is over?" Joey was hurt. Fear filled his honey eyes.
"I'm saying that if my brother finds out, it will be."
The blonde sighed in relief. "That's okay with me, he is your brother after all. Alright let's go!" He said cheerfully.
Joey threw off the covers and sat up straight. He shifted to the edge of the bed and let his feet touch the ground, but as they did, a wave of pain struck through him and he cried out audibly. His hands gripped his thighs violently and his eyes forced themselves shut. The CEO noticed immediately and made his way over to Joey's side of the bed. He sat next to the wincing blonde and cupped his cheek gently. The younger instantly drown in the other's azure eyes.
"I promise, I will never hurt you again." Kaiba said lovingly, sealing the promise with a passionate kiss.
Pulling away, Joey smiled. And he could swear he even saw a genuine smile tug at Kaiba's lips.
The two then hurriedly got dressed and made their way to the hospital. They followed directions to Mokuba's room and eventually found the young raven haired boy.
"Big brother!" Mokuba cried from his hospital bed as Kaiba waltzed into the room. The brunette immediately walked over and sat on the edge of the bed before hugging his brother tightly. The ravenette seemed surprised but hugged back without hesitation. A small tear ran from his bruised and scratched eye.
"You alright?" The older brother asked eagerly.
"I am now." Mokuba grinned. His eyes then drifted to the door where his gaze caught sight of the blonde. "Joey, what are you doing here?"
"I came to see you kiddo."
"Thanks, but how did you know I was here?"
"I think, that's for your brother to explain..."
Kaiba sighed regretfully and closed his eyes softly. Was he really going to admit that he showed weakness? Well, it was much easier than telling him the whole truth.
"Wheeler has been staying at our place for the last few days. His father kicked him out and he needed a place to sleep."
"Woaw, you actually let him stay? No offence Joey, Its just my brother normally doesn't have a very high opinion of you."
"None taken." The blonde said smoothly.
"I let him stay because I knew you would never let him live on the streets alone."
"That's so nice of you big brother. Thank you! And now I'll finally have someone to play video games with!" he beamed.
"You betcha." Joey smiled.
"So Moki, you ready to get out of here?" The brunette whispered.
"Definitely!" The ravenette yelled.
