"Adams alive."
Lucifer said it.
He's alive.
HE IS ALIVE AND DIDNT EVEN TEXT.
CALL.
EMAIL.
NOTHING.

I take his mask, throwing it.
HOW COULD HE!
I drop to my knees, sobbing.
How could he not tell me..

(Adams pov)

I lay in my bed, the hotel was quiet tonight.
I miss her.

Her voice.
Her eyes.
Her attitude.
Her love.

Was I blind to it the whole time?
All those nights she'd hold me while I cried about women.
She'd tell me they didn't deserve me.
They didn't want the relationship I wanted and that wasn't my fault.
She knew what to say.
Anything I needed.
She cleaned up after me and made sure my work was done.
And I was such a jackass to her..

The next morning, ive woken up late.
I head down the hall when I see a panicked radio demon- what is happening?
I walk up to him.
"God damn what the fuck is wrong, bambi."
He looks at me, a light flickering in his eyes.
"You! What do you know about angelic magic!" He questions.
"Oh, pretty much anything really?"
"Weaknesses."
"Uhm. Well. Our own weapons kill us. Uhm. Weilded angelic weapons or like ropes or chains whatever are basically toxic and drain us over time. And uhm. Theres this one wall material we use in heaven for people who are on warning, basically jail time til you ultimately sin and get sent here. It doesn't drain you but it stops your fucking powers. Basically human. Fuckin sucks."
"Adam."
"Right. It stops your powers, it sucks." I correct, disgusted with myself.
He sighs, looking at Azarae. "Azzie you need to stay in my sight until further notice."
"Whats going on." I ask.
"Vox got out. And he's got Lu and sebastian."

(Im trying not to drag along the time before they met back up because you know, thatd be awhile since adam was seemingly gone until the second hotel was built and lute had no idea he was alive, but thank you guys for the support I love you all so so much, I will continue to post on all my books! I have more sequels to the verse in mind all connected to my very first book, I always love interacting with you guys so I hope you are all having a good day, another chapter of this will be out soon!❤️)
