Things are getting better, though the days are long and lute is usually here.
Todays she's gone.
We haven't discussed our relationship much.
We just..cuddle.
And it feels nice.

I walk down the stairs, I'm late as fuck Lucifers gonna kill me.
But instead of that I see Lucifer and Lilith.
I slowly step back up the stairs.
Not today bitch..
I grab my phone.

I stare at the phone, knowing she wont say it back.
I'm still gonna tell her.
I get up and grab a few things from my dresser.
Shuffling through some boxes.
Charlie and I fixed our relationship- kinda. So hopefully I can stay there instead.
I cannot stand Lilith and I refuse to be here.
Shoving stuff into a bag I walk down the stairs and sneak past Lilith.
Walking down the sidewalk to the train station.

My phone buzzes and I pull it out my pocket, leaning against the wall.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠💕: 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐨.

My stomach flutters.
The fuck- I just thought that was movie magic bullshit..
I feel my face heat up, and I can't help but smile

The train pulls up, hissing to a stop.
I shove my phone in my pocket and step in and take a seat.
It's an hour train there.
I pull my phone back out and scroll through sinstagram.
The train screeches and more people pile into the train-car.
A pregnant imp woman and her toddler walking in, she grabs a pole and holds her childs hand.
Mm..
I get up, "ma'am, would you like this seat?" She looks at me, and then the seat.
"You don't have to sir."
"It's not a problem, all yours,"
She gives me a light smile and takes the seat, her toddler sitting inbetween her legs.

That's also a new feeling for me.
I would have been one of these other assholes and watched her instead of helping.
Does this mean I'm improving?

...

I walk into the hotel.
"Adam!" Azzie runs up to me. "Where's Lute..?"
"Uh- shes in heaven right now, but she'll be here later."
"Yay!"
"You're trying to steal my girl aren't ya?" I crouch down to her level.
She giggles. "I just want to show ger my new trick! Lookie!"
She steps back and does a back handspring.
"Dang kid, you're doing good."
She smiles, "thank you!"
"Bug, it's time to get layed down." Alastor says, walking up to us.
"Awhh, five more minutes! Lutes coming!!"
"No, you have school c'mon, you can talk to her tomorrow," he takes her hand and they head upstairs.
"You seem to be improving well,"
I stand up and turn, seeing Vaggie.
"Oh-! Uh..heyyy.."
"How's Lute doing?"
"She's better. How are you-?"
"I'm fine."
"Mm.."

Silence is awkward.

"I uhm- I'm sorry for everything that I put you through."
She looks at me.
"Just don't put her through that too."
She walks away.
