(Lutes pov)

I sit down on adams bed, waiting for him to finish talking with Alastor.
They needed to discuss something involving that fuck-face tv.
I don't know how I feel right now.

I mean, it's adam.
Does he really care..?
Why would he?

The door opens and he slips into the room, looking at me.
I want to yell at him.
I want to tell him how much he sucks.
But I don't.
I get up, and I hug him.
And he doesn't say anything, nothing at all.
He just hugs me back.
Being there in his arms..all the anger just floods from my body..
Tears forming in my eyes as he brushes my hair back.
"I'm so sorry."
I look up at him.
Sorry.?
Adam is never sorry.
"Do you mean that?"
"I do. From the bottom of my heart..Lute I am so..so..sorry.."
I watch tears form in his eyes as he looks into mine.
"I..wish I could take back, every nasty thing I ever said to you..all the things I did..to hurt you..I..I love you.." He cups my face. "I love you so much.."
I lean closer, watching him as he leans down closer to me.
And all that time..thinking I'd never see him again..
Now here he is..
Kissing me.

I kiss him back, my hands traveling up to his neck.
He pulls me closer, his hand sliding to my waist.
Pulling back for a moment, he just looks at me, a look in his eyes i'd never seen before.
Love?
"I promise you..I will better myself..I'll get myself redeemed..I want to do better..for you.."
"What happened to not loving another woman again. After what happened with eve."
"Eve was a slut. She was cheating long before we died and still sleeps with new men on a daily. You're nothing like her..you have given me so much reason to trust you..I respect you..I love you..and I realize now..I need you.."

How can I trust that..
"and..what if I don't have the trust in you right now..?"
"Tell me what I need to do..I promise you I'm here..I mean it this time.."
I look down.
"I think..I need some time to think.."
I pull away, looking at the floor.

My phone dings and I pull it from my pocket, reading the message.
"I have to go. Sera wants me back."
