                                  (Lutes pov)

"You're an imbecile."
"Uhm. Actually I think I rock." Adam says, holding up the rock symbol.
I roll my eyes, plopping down on the bed.
"Lute." I look up, and see he's walked closer. "I love you."
I freeze.
"I..I uhm.."
He leans down closer looking into my eyes.
"You don't have to say it back." His hand slides to my cheek and he kisses me softly. "I just need you to know it."
I feel my cheeks heat up.
I clear my throat. "Stop being a dork."
He smiles.

He really has been putting in the effort to change.
Alastor and Lucifer both told me he's improved drastically.
No longer calling himself the dick master and he's been helping with everything that's been going on.
I'm glad that he's bettering himself but..this isn't going to last if he doesn't get redeemed or I go against heaven and get kicked down here.
But he wants to go back to heaven so..I have to trust that he'll get better and redemption will work for him.

"Honey."
I snap out of my thoughts, and look up at him.
"Huh-?.."
"What's on your mind?"
"Nothing important."
But..Everything important....
"Hm. Are you sure?"
I nod.
"Okay." He leans in and give me another kiss, this one longer. More passionate.
My fingers slip into his hair as he gets closer.
His hands sliding to my waist.
I lay back against the bed, pulling him with me as his lips travel from my mouth to my neck.
I've missed this.
But at the same time he's like a new person.
Is us being happy something we can accomplish..?

One of his hands slide under my neck, holding me close.
All my doubts flooding away as his hand slides down my waist..
