After telling the people inside the emergency shelter that he is going to call nezu izuku goes outside to make sure nothing blocked his phone signal and calls nezu telling him the situation of all the civilian's including that no one is injured after nezu tells izuku that he will sent a group of police and hero's to help with everyone in the shelter and hanging up izuku noticed a noise coming from a alleyway next to a shop and office building that is slightly destroyed once he checks the alleyway he finds a little girl huddle up in a corner that was lucky undamaged so he goes to check on her.
As he gets closer he noticed that she had her eyes bandage up so she probably couldn't see him or her surroundings.

Izuku: hey little one what are you doing here on your own are you injured.
The child was at first startled but after hearing the genuine worry in his voice answered.
???: I am ok mister but what happened I was just sleeping here and then woke up to loud sounds and screaming I was to scared to leave so I just stayed where I was.
After she said that izuku noticed the dirty and damaged pillow and blankets on the floor and with that he suddenly he just felt sadness a homeless blind child how could people just leave her on the streets someone must have seen her why was she not helped but after thinking that he noticed something else.
Izuku: hay can you tell me your name?.
???:my name is Noroi. mister are you a hero?
Izuku: not exactly I am Azrael I am a vigilante.
Noroi:oh I heard the adult talking about you they said you were basically a hero at this point.
Izuku: now I have 3 questions for you would that be ok?.
Noroi:ok I will try to answer.
Izuku: first why were you named that.
Izuku asked because he knows her name means curse and he doesn't understand why her parents would name her that.
Noroi: oh when I asked mama that she said it was because daddy left because of me so I am a curse and should be named as such.
Izuku: ok second question why do you keep smiling even when you told me about your mother you didn't stop so why.
Noroi: I believe smiling will make me strong and good girls must smile that is what mama said and I want mama to be happy.
Izuku is just sad after hearing this and then asked.
Izuku: ok last question what happened to your eyes?.
Even though she kept smiling izuku could see she hesitated for a moment and her smile became a bit more strained.
Noroi: mama used to say she hates my eyes because they reminded her of daddy and when she got her quirk her eyes changed how they looked a bit and her mama started calling her evil because of it so to make her mama happy she poured a mix of bleach and other chemicals into her eyes.
Izuku was horrified and saddened so while trying to keep calm he asked.
Izuku:so where is your mama now.
He asked this because he wanted nothing more than to punch her in the face.
Noroi:I don't know mama dropped me off here and told me to stay until she came back so I have been staying here like a good girl though it has been a long time.....
After hearing her saying that izuku couldn't control himself anymore and just hugged her.
She was surprised and asked.
Noroi: mister what are you doing?.
Izuku: this is a hug people give them when someone is sad or hurt or to express love or care you seem to need someone to care for your own happiness listen what your mother did was bad and I don't want you to be sad but your mama isn't going to come get you I can tell that you know this but are lying to yourself so cry children shouldn't hide their sadness cry and shout don't keep forcing yourself to smile.
After he finished speaking he started hearing her sobbing into his chest so whilst hugging her he went back to the emergency bunker. When he walked in with a crying child multiple of the adults were worried and asked if everything was ok.
Izuku: everything is ok this little is just coming to terms with some sad information the heroes and police will be here soon.
After saying that izuku goes to an unoccupied spot on the floor and sits down while still comforting her he noticed that the other children in the shelter are also scared and worried so he chose to do something to distract them for a bit so he sang a song for them.
By the time he was done he noticed that she had calmed down and fallen asleep in his arms and looking around he noticed quite a few of the other children were looking sleepy too.
A few minutes later the help nezu sent arrived and got to work helping everyone there when one of the police came over to Azrael to see about getting the child in his arms to the area where they have chosen to use as a meet up point between family and the evacuated citizens izuku tells him there is no need and that she is homeless so no one will be there waiting for her and that he was going to look after her since she has a sad history and he feels the need to help her he said this with a very firm voice which shows that he's not willing to compromise on this one thing he didn't realize that he is being affected by the downside of the power he got from when he absolved eri father's blessings which gave him a strong protective instinct for children the police officer having noticed that he won't be able to change his mind decided to just inform nezu about this and let him decide.
Nezu after being told about this decided to talk to Azrael about it after sorting out everything with the evacuees.
Nezu: Azrael what is the situation with the little one you have with you why are you acting so protective of her?.
After nezu pointed out his overly protective behaviour he realised what happened and told nezu about father's blessings and the downside it had as well as her story.
Nezu:well she was a terrible excuse of a mother but I do want to know how being protective of children is a downside?.
Izuku: my guess would be it makes me more impulsive and less rational when it comes to protecting children but not by much just a bit more reckless.
Nezu: will you take good care of her after hearing her story i think she needs some proper love from someone who cares.
Izuku looks at nezu slightly angry and asks.
Izuku: are you implying I am not able to provide that needed love and care I will have you know when I accept someone into my family I do so with the knowledge that I will die for them if I need to to keep them safe and happy.
Nezu: I wasn't trying to offend you I have seen how you are with that little one eri I was just pointing out that she will need a lot of support.
Izuku takes a few deep breaths before saying.
Izuku: sorry about that I am very protective of the dysfunctional little family that I have built.
After that conversation izuku decided it was time for them to leave so he went around and told Stain and dabi that he was going home before leaving with his new child.
Sorry about the late upload and the short chapter some things have been distracting me recently still I hope you enjoyed it.
