just after izuku gets home with dabi they walk in the house but they both could then hear a gentle crying izuku says sorry to dabi before rushing to the sound dabi follows him to see not only who is crying but how Azrael will react.
As they get to the room the crying is coming from izuku opens the door and goes to Eri and asks.

Izuku:eri dear did you have another nightmare.

Eri just nods and hugs him. izuku hugs her too and rubs her back.

Izuku:Would you like me to play the recording of the song I sang for you.

Eri nods and izuku plays the video and tells eri he will be in the living room if she wants him for anything. once he sees she is dozing off he leaves quietly and sees dabi in the doorway once they are in the living room.

Izuku: sorry about that dabi but eri has a lot of trouble when it comes to nightmares even after I saved her.

Dabi:it is fine if you don't mind me asking what did overhaul do to her I never got the chance to watch most of your videos.

Izuku proceeds to tell him eri's whole story once he is finished.

Dabi is visibly disgusted and angry but takes a deep breath and says.

Dabi:I can see why she has nightmares she was forced to live through hell at such a young age.
I am happy she is with someone who seems to really care for her.

Izuku:of course I care for her when I asked her if she would be willing to join my family I asked with the full knowledge that I would die if it means she will be safe.

Dabi didn't show it on his face but he was impressed because he could see the determination in his eyes.

Izuku:now dabi when I look at your crimes and the reasons behind them I can see that you have just started out as a vigilante and why but I want to ask are you willing to tell me your story.

Dabi:I would rather not until I trust you.

Izuku:that is fine I wasn't expecting you to trust me yet but I do have a question while we plan our attack on the number 2 hero would you like to stay at my apartment building I am happy to let you pick which apartment and as I said earlier as long as you don't try to injure or antagonize any of the other 3 people who live there you can stay as long as you would like.
Sorry not saying that you would but everyone who lives there has experienced some form of abuse because of their quirk and I told them that once I took responsibility for helping them and making sure they are safe that I saw them as family and I intend to make sure they aren't reminded of how they felt in the past.

Dabi was genuinely surprised by the offer and the knowledge that the 3 people who live there now have experienced abuse because of their quirk.

Dabi:who are the 3 people who already live there and what are their stories.

Izuku proceeds to tell him mustard toga and Slime's story and once he is finished he says.

Izuku:so yes after knowing all that I hope you can see why I am a bit worried about them feeling unwelcome I want them to for once in there lives feel like they are welcome and wanted somewhere I think they all deserve it.

Dabi:I can say I respect the lengths you have gone to help them and sure I will take an apartment.

Izuku: great I will just check on eri and will then take you to the apartment building you can pick one and we will begin planning the attack on endeavour tomorrow when we are well rested and thinking the best we can ok.
