BLAKE
‧₊˚ ★

Liam's expression hardens, his body tensing. "I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs!" he retorts. "You guys are out of your freaking minds," he says, his voice growing louder. "I don't know how you did that eye thing, and I don't care! I'm walking out the door right now! And if any of you try to stop me, I swear to God, I'm gonna—"

Suddenly, Liam screams, clutching his head as if it's about to split open. His breathing turns ragged, and he drops to his knees.

"Liam? Are you okay?" I rush forward, glancing nervously at Scott.

Scott steps toward him. "Liam, what's wrong?"

Liam grits his teeth, his face contorted in agony. "You don't hear that?

Just then, I hear the distant hum of a car pulling up outside. My head jerks toward the window. "Oh shit."

Liam collapses, pressing his palms against his ears, trying to block out whatever sound is torturing him.

"Did you tell someone about this?" Lydia asks sharply.

Liam's breathing is shallow. "My friend Mason," he groans. "You said it was a party."

Outside, the sound of excited voices draws closer, and I hear the cheers of a crowd.

This is bad. Really bad.

"And who did Mason invite?" Stiles asks.

Kira peeks out the window, her face pale. "Everyone."

Liam's claws shoot out, digging into the wooden floor, leaving deep gashes. "The floors! Get him off the floors!" Lydia rushes forward, panicked at the sight of her grandmother's wooden planks being torn apart.

Liam lets out a roar, his eyes glowing a bright shade of yellow, fangs protruding.

Lydia quickly steps back as Scott and Kira spring into action, rushing to his side. "We need to get him to the boathouse. Now!" Scott orders.

In a blur of movement, Scott and Kira manage to hoist Liam to his feet, dragging him toward the door, his growls echoing through the room.

But as they move to leave, I hear a low, ominous growl behind me. I whip around to see Malia, her eyes glowing blue.

She slams her fists down on the table, her body trembling. "Blake?" she growls, struggling to keep it together.

"Okay, basement! Now!" I shout, rushing to her side. "Stiles, help me!"

Stiles grabs the bag of chains, moving quickly to Malia's other side as we guide her down toward the basement.

Lydia's voice rises in panic behind us. "What am I supposed to do with the hordes gathering outside the door?"
