Christmas Morning
Mickey was happy to wake up in her bed the next morning.
It was something she'd been looking forward to all year because it was one of her favorite times.
Christmas morning had finally came around.
She had sat around the decorated Christmas tree with her mother in their little apartment, passing each other the presents that they got each other that were underneath the tree.
They each had about five or six. Nothing too big but also none too small either.
Mickey had then even got up as she remembered something and ran off to her room to retrieve something from her drawer in her dresser.
"One last thing I got you."
When she returned she smiled brightly at Max as she held her hands behind her back before bringing them around to her and holding a tightly wrapped little box and that she pushed out towards Maxine.
The woman took it with a smile, her heart warming even more than usual because of the Christmas spirit and knowing that she was going to love whatever her daughter got her for one of her favorite holidays ever.
It was a necklace, or more so like a locket that had a picture of the two of them, side by side. The picture was of Mickey as a toddler and of a teen Maxine right before she would become a teen mom.
They hugged and then Mickey's phone went off but she ignored it for the moment as she was busy with her mom.
"Merry Christmas, mom."
"Thank you, honey. I love it very much." Maxine chuckled as she let Mickey help her place it on her neck by the clasp. She sipped her mug after her daughter pressed a kiss to the top of her head, "Oh! And uh, I'm going by to see Cassie later on. Do you want to-"
The teens phone went off again. And again and again and again. And so on.
It kept going off repeatedly and rapidly.
She picked it up with furrowed brows her smile and face dropping once she did.
What she had thought was her friends sending another Christmas related text, wasn't, because Imogen had told all the girls that she had gotten a rather strange call from Kelly and the things that came out of her mouth worried them all.
The girls were now terrified again, and had relayed the message to their mothers as well now that everyone was thrown in the loop together.
Everyone was in the mix now more than ever.
What more could they possibly have to go through?

So apparently Tom Beasley and Chip were dead and they had both been stabbed by A, who had escaped the hospital and police custody to kill the two.
Their monster, their terrorizer, was on the loose.
He was out there and probably going to come after them again...
All the daughter's and their mothers, plus Faran's dad, and including the two remaining Beasley's, had met at the Haworthe's where a cop was telling them the news and they were asking the woman in uniform their questions and concerns, especially for their children's safety.
"How could you let this happen?" Sidney asked Deputy Maroon who stood before them all in the living room.
"Isn't it your single most important job to keep serial killers from escaping and murdering even more people." Faran pointed out.
