The week passed with an unsettling tension in the air, a blend of excitement and jealousy that Freen struggled to contain. Non's presence in the office grew more pronounced, and every time he smiled at Becky or tried to engage her in conversation, Freen felt a tight knot of possessiveness tighten in her chest.
Freen found herself constantly aware of Becky's interactions with Non, her heart racing whenever he leaned a little too close or laughed a little too heartily at something Becky said. Despite her best efforts to trust Becky, the thought of Non's unreciprocated feelings gnawed at her.
One sunny afternoon, the office buzzed with anticipation for the weekend. Becky had just wrapped up a meeting and stepped out into the hallway, her smile radiant as she headed toward the break room. Non, leaning casually against the wall, caught her eye and moved to intercept her.
"Hey, Becky! Got a minute?" he called out, his tone overly friendly.
Becky paused, glancing back toward Freen's office. Freen watched from her desk, a tightness forming in her chest as Non leaned in a little too closely, a flirtatious smile on his face.
"Sure, what's up?" Becky replied, her voice cheerful but slightly cautious.
Freen's heart raced as she stood up, unable to ignore the feeling that something wasn't right. Just as she took a step toward them, Non leaned in, his intent clear. He moved to kiss Becky, but she instinctively recoiled, pushing him away with a look of confusion and discomfort.
"Non, what are you doing?" Becky exclaimed, her cheeks flushing.
Freen's anger boiled over, and before she knew it, she was storming down the hallway. "Get away from her!" she shouted, her voice filled with rage.
Non turned, surprise etched across his face, but Freen didn't hesitate. Fueled by a mixture of fury and protectiveness, she landed a swift punch to Non's jaw, sending him stumbling backward against the wall.
"Stay away from my girlfriend," Freen growled, her eyes blazing with anger. The words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of her possessiveness.
"Freen, wait!" Becky called, her voice laced with shock and concern. She rushed to Freen's side, placing a hand on her arm. "You didn't have to do that!"
"I won't let him disrespect you like that!" Freen replied, her heart pounding with adrenaline. "You deserve better than his advances!"
Becky took a deep breath, her eyes wide as she processed the situation. "I appreciate you standing up for me, but we need to talk about this."
Freen softened slightly at Becky's tone but was still fueled by a fierce protectiveness. "Let's get out of here." She grabbed Becky's hand and led her out of the office, her grip firm.
Once they reached Freen's apartment, she closed the door behind them, locking it with a decisive click. Freen turned to Becky, her heart racing not just from anger but from the urgency of her feelings.
Before Becky could say anything, Freen stepped forward, pinning her against the wall. The intensity of the moment sent a thrill of electricity between them, and Freen leaned in, capturing Becky's lips in a fierce kiss.
The kiss was desperate and possessive, fueled by the jealousy and anger that had been building inside her. Freen's hands tangled in Becky's hair, pulling her closer as their lips moved in a passionate rhythm. Becky melted into the kiss, her body responding instinctively to Freen's fervor.
Freen poured everything into that kiss, wanting to convey just how much she cared and how fiercely she would protect what they had. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other, the world outside fading away.
After what felt like an eternity of making out, they finally broke apart, gasping for breath. Freen rested her forehead against Becky's, their breaths mingling in the charged silence.
"Becky," Freen murmured, her voice low and intense. "You're mine."
The possessive tone in her voice sent a shiver down Becky's spine, and she nodded, a soft smile breaking through the intensity. "I'm yours, Freen."
Freen's heart swelled at the affirmation, a rush of warmth flooding her chest. The jealousy that had threatened to consume her dissipated, replaced by a profound sense of belonging. She captured Becky's lips again, their kiss lingering as they embraced the passion and connection that had blossomed between them.
In that moment, Freen realized that no matter the challenges ahead, she was ready to fight for their love. As long as Becky was by her side, she would face anything—especially Non's lingering presence. Together, they would carve out their own space in the world, one filled with love, understanding, and fierce devotion.
