The afternoon was a joyful blend of laughter and banter as Freen, Becky, and their friends spent the day together. The group shared stories from their university days, cracked inside jokes, and teased Freen about her recent glowing appearance. Becky sat beside Freen, her hand occasionally brushing against hers, exchanging soft glances.

Nam, Noey, and Kate soon excused themselves in the evening. They had plans of their own, but not without giving Freen a few cheeky smiles and knowing looks.

"You two have fun later, okay?" Nam said with a wink as she grabbed her bag.

Freen smirked, watching as they headed for the door. Becky, however, had another commitment.

"I have to go home," Becky sighed. "It's my parents' anniversary tonight, and there's this whole party I need to attend. You're still coming, right?"

Freen smiled reassuringly. "Of course. I just have some work to finish up, but I'll be there later."

Becky gave Freen a kiss on the cheek before gathering her things and leaving for her parents' mansion. As the door clicked shut behind her, Freen's expression shifted. She glanced at the time and exhaled sharply, preparing for what was to come.

Freen entered her car and drove straight to the basement of her secret building, hidden away from the public eye. This building was more than a simple architectural hub-it housed her underground operations. As she parked her car and descended into the underground section, she saw Saint already waiting for her.

"She's already here," Saint said quietly, nodding toward the back of the room.

A sinister smile crept across Freen's face. She nodded at her cousin and walked toward the dark, secluded area in the basement. The dim lighting cast ominous shadows against the cold, concrete walls. As Freen approached, she saw a woman, bound tightly with ropes to a chair, her eyes blindfolded, and her voice hoarse from screaming.

"Who are you? Let me go! I didn't do anything!" the woman yelled, panic seeping into her voice.

Freen's cold footsteps echoed off the walls as she moved closer. Her presence alone was enough to silence the woman's frantic cries. Leaning in close, Freen's voice was icily calm as she whispered into the woman's ear, "Because of you, my girl has insecurities about our relationship."

The woman's body tensed. She jerked in her seat, trying to free herself, but the ropes held her tightly. "I didn't do anything!" she screamed.

Freen stood upright and chuckled softly, a cold, menacing sound. "You have the nerve to say that?"

With one swift motion, Freen removed the blindfold, revealing the terrified face of Nita. Her eyes widened in horror as they met Freen's icy gaze.

"F-F-Freen?" Nita stammered, her voice trembling. "Y-You?"

Freen smirked, crossing her arms. "Surprised, aren't you? Well, don't you think it's a great surprise, Nita?"

Nita's breath hitched, panic setting in as she struggled to find words. Freen's face darkened, her smirk disappearing as she slapped Nita across the face with a brutal force. The impact echoed through the room, and Nita let out a gasp of pain, her cheek burning as she held it.

"How dare you touch Becky's property," Freen spat, her voice now venomous.

"I d-didn't do anything like that!" Nita cried, tears forming in her eyes.

Freen chuckled darkly, pacing slowly around her, like a predator toying with its prey. "You touched me," Freen said, her voice dangerously calm. "You dared to touch my body. Do you know what I was dreaming of before you showed up at my place at three in the morning? I was dreaming about Becky and me, together. But you... you ruined that."

Freen's eyes gleamed with fury as she continued, "You didn't just ruin my dream-you also had the audacity to hug me. If I had been in my right mind, I would've slapped you there and then. But I was still lost in my thoughts. And Becky... Becky saw you hugging me."

Nita whimpered, shaking her head, but Freen leaned in closer, her face inches away from Nita's, her breath hot and her words sharp. "Listen to me, Nita. I'm letting you go this time, but if you try anything again, you'll see a side of me that no one walks away from. Stay away from me. Stay away from Becky."

Nita nodded, too terrified to speak. Freen gave her one last cold glare before stepping back. "Saint," Freen called over her shoulder. "Get her out of here."

Saint appeared in the doorway, his expression neutral as he untied Nita and escorted her out. Freen watched them leave, her mind already shifting to the next part of her evening.

Later that night, Freen arrived at Becky's parents' mansion. The party was already in full swing when she stepped through the grand entrance. The soft chatter of guests filled the air, and classical music played in the background. Becky spotted Freen and quickly made her way over, a bright smile lighting up her face.

"There you are," Becky said, wrapping her arms around Freen. "You made it."

Freen smiled, her earlier encounter with Nita already buried deep within her. "Of course, I wouldn't miss it for anything."

Becky took Freen's hand and led her through the crowd, introducing her to her parents. Becky's mother was gracious, her father slightly stern but welcoming, while her brother, with a teasing grin, quickly sized Freen up.

"So, you're the one Becky's been talking about," Becky's brother said with a smirk.

Freen shook his hand firmly. "I suppose I am."

Becky's parents greeted Freen warmly, and she mingled with the guests, her charm on full display. It was easy to forget the darkness she had just dealt with, and for now, Freen allowed herself to get lost in the normalcy of this celebration.

As the night progressed, Freen was swept into conversations with various guests, all while keeping an eye on Becky. But unbeknownst to her, someone else in the room had their eyes on her as well.

In the shadows of the grand ballroom, a figure stood, watching Freen intently. His eyes darkened with every movement she made, his thoughts growing increasingly sinister.

The man's gaze trailed over Freen's body with a twisted sense of possession. He clenched his glass tightly, his mind racing with disturbing ideas. "I'll get you soon," he muttered under his breath, a wicked smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

He knew exactly who she was-and more importantly, what she meant to Becky. His plan had been set in motion long before tonight, but seeing her here in the flesh only fueled his obsession further. Freen's beauty and confidence only added to the thrill.

Freen, unaware of the lurking figure, remained engaged in light conversations with Becky's family and guests. Her smile never faltered, but an eerie sensation slowly crept up her spine as if someone were watching her. She brushed it off, thinking it was just the weight of the long day.

Suddenly, Becky appeared by her side again, pulling her back into the moment. "You okay?" Becky asked softly, sensing something off in Freen's expression.

Freen nodded, shaking off the strange feeling. "Yeah, just a little tired. That's all."

Becky smiled warmly, leaning closer to whisper, "Well, maybe after the party, we can sneak away somewhere quieter."

Freen chuckled, feeling the tension melt away at Becky's touch. "I'd like that."

The mysterious figure, however, continued to watch, his mind plotting. Tonight wasn't the night to strike, but soon. Very soon.
