That evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the city, Freen slipped into a hidden door at the back of her apartment. It led to a staircase that descended into the depths of the building, away from prying eyes. Only a few trusted friends knew about her underground detective agency, a carefully concealed operation that operated outside the boundaries of her architectural business. The space was dimly lit, filled with maps, photographs, and an array of surveillance equipment that hummed softly. At the center of it all was Heng, one of the best detectives in the agency. His desk was cluttered with files and cases, and he looked up as Freen entered, concern etched across his face.
"Freen, you're here late. Is everything okay?" Heng asked, pushing a strand of hair behind his ear.
Freen nodded, but the weight of Non's threat still hung heavily on her mind. "We need to talk," she said, her voice low but urgent.
Heng stood, instantly sensing the gravity of the situation. "What's going on?"
"Non tried to kiss Becky today," Freen revealed, her fists clenched at her sides. "He thinks he can come between us. I need you to take this seriously."
Heng's expression hardened. "I'll make sure he stays away from her. What do you want me to do?"
"I want you to keep an eye on Becky," Freen instructed, her voice steely. "If Non tries anything again, I need to know about it immediately. And I want you to work with Saint on this."
"Saint?" Heng raised an eyebrow. "Isn't he busy with the bodyguard team?"
"Exactly. I need him to protect her, and he'll be in charge of keeping her safe from a distance. He won't let her know, but I want him and his team close to her at all times," Freen explained, her voice laced with urgency.
Heng nodded, a serious expression crossing his face. "Consider it done. We can set up surveillance on her apartment and her daily routine."
"Good," Freen said, her voice softening just a bit. "Becky means everything to me. If anything happens to her—"
"I know," Heng interrupted, his voice firm. "If anything happens to Becky, you'll have the whole city hunting for whoever did it. I'll make sure she's protected."
As Freen paced the small office, her mind raced with the implications of what Non had said. She couldn't afford to let anything jeopardize her relationship with Becky. The thought of losing her fueled a possessive rage within her, igniting a fierce determination to protect what was hers.
"Also, I want Saint to do a thorough background check on Non," Freen added, her brow furrowing. "I need to know if he has any history that could pose a threat."
"Already on it," Heng assured her, flipping through a few files on his desk. "I'll have everything compiled by tomorrow."
Freen's phone buzzed, pulling her attention away from Heng. It was a message from Becky, asking if she wanted to hang out later. A warm smile crept onto her face despite the seriousness of the moment.
"Go ahead and text her," Heng encouraged, sensing the shift in Freen's mood. "Just don't let her know you're worried."
Freen typed a quick response, inviting Becky over for a movie night. "Thanks, Heng. I really appreciate your help in this."
Heng grinned, leaning back against his desk. "That's what friends are for. Just keep your guard up. You know I'll have your back."
Freen stepped closer to Heng, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know I can count on you. Just keep everything under wraps; I don't want anyone finding out about this."
"Trust me, this stays between us," Heng replied, a serious look in his eyes.
As Freen left the underground agency, her heart raced. She had the means to protect Becky, but the thought of Non trying to undermine their relationship made her stomach churn.
Meanwhile, in a dark corner of the city, Saint received a message from Freen detailing her concerns. He was a protective cousin, fiercely loyal to Freen, and now his mission was to ensure Becky's safety. He gathered his team, briefed them on the new assignment, and outlined their roles.
"We're not just watching her," Saint instructed. "We're keeping her safe. No one gets close enough to harm her, understood?"
"Yes, sir!" his team responded, their expressions serious and determined.
As they dispersed to gather their equipment, Saint couldn't shake the feeling that this job was more than just a protective detail; it was about Freen's heart. He would do anything to ensure that her love for Becky remained unscathed. He vowed to remain in the shadows, never revealing himself to Becky, but always staying close, a silent guardian watching over her.
Back in her apartment, Freen leaned against the wall, the adrenaline still coursing through her veins. She knew she had to stay one step ahead, and with Heng and Saint's help, she would do just that. The fight to protect her relationship was only just beginning, and she was prepared to face any threat that came their way.
Guys tell me Becky's friends name. Because I only know about Yuki? The girl who was in Gap is also her best friend in real life too.
Can you tell me her male friends so I can add more characters.
