So I've never watched S10. I tried to when it first started and immediately got bored and tired of it. I have watched like a couple animatics (like 2) and I've seen some fanart (which is mostly just the builds) so uh- hope this worked.

Whenever I write about Hermitcraft I like to think of it as this big town and there's a train connecting to it from the main city where people come from to live there and it's like a getaway people can go to, but they have to get this like award for building and architecture. Anyway- enjoy!

Joel's Perspective-

Joel was originally very excited to be invited to live in the bustling town of Hermitcraft. He knew a couple people from previous games their towns held annually, but he never knew he would get an award for his creativity.

As the train slowed to a stop right outside the main square, Joel and Skizz stood up.

Skizz threw on his duffel bag around his shoulder and walked out. Joel followed closely and saw Skizz cheer as he hugged Tango and Impulse.

"Hey Joel!"

Joel looked up and saw Etho and Grian waving.

"Sup guys." He smiled, fist bumping Grian.

"How was your train ride?" Etho asked.

"Boring." Joel sighed, "But fine."

"But hey, now you're here." Grian elbowed him.

Joel smiled, "Yep! And I hope to make the most out of this new life."

As the weeks went by, Joel and Etho continued to toss around jokes and tease each other about being Boat Boys and supposedly obsessed with each other.

Joel was dropping off a book at Etho's home along with a couple of his banners when he saw Bdubs.

"Oh- hi Bdubs." Joel smiled, nodding.

"Hey Joel." Bdubs smiled a bit but seemed nervous.

"You alright?" Joel asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I- ..Joel there's something you should probably know."

"What's up?" Joel tilted his head, watching as Bdubs fidgeted with the strings on his hoodie.

"Me...me and Etho are uh- dating. And we have been for a while. I just- you know...wanted to let you know." Bdubs stammered.

Joel was initially shocked but quickly masked it.

"Oh pshh, yeah I know it's whatever." Joel waved him off.

Bdubs smiled and left. Joel glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one was around and he wrote a new message.

'Meet me at my base if you want the banners'

Joel was planning out a new build in his district when he heard a cheerful voice.

"Hey Joel!" Etho smiled, walking over.

Joel frowned and turned to him, folding his arms.

"Woah- what's wrong?" Etho asked, looking concerned.

"Were you never going to mention Bdubs?" Joel asked, clearly upset.

Etho's eyes widened and Joel laughed.

"I was gonna find out at some point, how long were you gonna keep it a secret?"

"I- look Joel I thought that game that took place last year and all our teasing...it was just that, right?"

Joel muttered something and turned away.

"Right, Joel?" Etho asked, putting his hand on his shoulder.

"You could've still told me!! You don't have to lead me on and keep doing this stuff when you love someone else."

Etho sighs, "I'm sorry, alright? I didn't think you'd get so emotional about this."

Joel scoffed, "Yeah, maybe I'm too emotional, but maybe that's because you never cared at all." He spat, a cold glare in his eyes.

Etho looked surprised and Joel turned back around, walking up the steps to his home.

"Joel- I- "

Joel glanced back at him, but Etho hesitated, not knowing what to say or do.

"Oh and here." Joel took out a horse head and rolled it down the steps. It stopped at Etho's feet and he looked concerned.

"Tell your little boyfriend it's a gift from a pal."
