Everyone's been getting really mad at me for not writing Scarian much anymore so I shall do some short angst ending in fluff :D

Scar's Perspective-

"Gah-!"

Cleo looked over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at Scar's sudden outburst.

He sighed and Cleo pulled the cart that Grian was in.

"You good?" She asked, barely visible behind the sleeping Bad Boy.

"Yeah, sorry. Just seeing Grian in the small tunnel here uh- just reminds me of stuff.." He trailed off, his voice growing quiet.

-

"Scar, will you be quiet!?"

"I'm sorry! I just start talking when I'm scared."

"Well I'm scared too and we're gonna get found out because of your carelessness!" Grian snapped, his glare cold and hard.

Scar huffed, crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks.

"Well it's not my fault Scott got us caught." He mumbled.

"You did to! You can't keep your mouth shut even when our lives are on the line!!!" Grian shouts and Scar hears footsteps.

"G-Gri calm down- "

"And you never seem to care before you just act out. Do you realize how stressful this is for me?! I'm stuck with someone as idiotic as you- "

Grian yelped as he mined into a pit of zombies and he fell.

"GRIAN!"

"SCAR! Scar help me!!"  Grian held up his hand, but the zombies grabbed at him pulling him down.

Scar felt a sharp pain in his heart but he reached down, trying to help his soulmate.

Heh heard shouting from above the surface and Joel skidded in.

"THERE THEY ARE I FOUND THEM-!"

Joel steadied his bow and Scar felt Grian yank him down. Scar shouted but before he could do anything, he and Grian lost their first life.

-

They reached the end of the tunnel and hid Grian in a hole, advertising it as Grian being here to listen to all your thoughts and needs.

Cleo left to go find Bdubs and Scar stayed by Grian, keeping watch for the other Bad Boys who were sure to try and find him.

Scar glanced over at Grian, whose head was resting against the wall, fast asleep.

"Hey Grian..." Scar took a deep breath and he folded his arms, "I...I'm sorry."

The wind brushed past him, carrying with it the scent of the pine trees.

He closed his eyes for a moment, letting the cool breeze dance through his hair, feeling as if nature itself was helping calm him.

"I'm sorry you were stuck with me in the past and I had dragged you down. I'm sorry you kept losing because of my carelessness."

The world around him was alive, and in that moment, he felt a deep connection to it.

The rustling leaves and the soft murmur of the flowers seemed to reverberate his own thoughts, urging him to keep speaking.

Scar finally looked up at Grian.

"But you know what? I'm not sorry for never forgetting my love for you."

The pink glow of the setting sun sparkled through the branches, casting shadows on the ground.

"I remember every moment," Scar continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "The laughter, the adventures, all those late nights under the stars."

He paused, before continuing.

"Even when things got tough, I never stopped caring."

Grian shifted slightly, a faint smile across his lips, and Scar felt a flicker of hope.

"If you could hear me," he said, voice shaking a bit, "I'd tell you that I would choose you again, every single time."

The sun fell lower, and shadows grew bigger, wrapping around them like a comforting blanket.

Scar knew that someday, when Grian woke, he'd be ready to share it all, to bridge the gap between their past and whatever future lay ahead.

Oh and I based it off of this fanart I think I found on Pinterest? (Idk I've had it on my phone since March 2023)
