Sakura barely remembered how she made it home that day. Her mind was tangled in a whirlwind of thoughts, Professor Hatake's voice playing on a loop in her head.

"Are you ready to be seen?"

She had tried to shake the memory of his words, but they clung to her like a second skin. The way he had looked at her-it was more than just a teacher analyzing a student's work. There was something underneath, something dangerous, something that left her feeling exposed in ways she hadn't expected.

She wanted to forget about it, to move on like it was just a fleeting moment, but her body betrayed her every time she thought about the way he had leaned in, his voice a whisper that slid under her skin.

As she sat on her bed that evening, her notebook resting on her lap, she tried to write, hoping to distract herself. But the words wouldn't come. She stared down at the blank page, her thoughts wandering back to him over and over again.

Why was this happening?

She was usually so focused, so in control, but all of that had crumbled the moment Professor Hatake had entered her life. Now, she was questioning everything-her writing, her desires, and the strange, electric connection that seemed to spark between them whenever they were in the same room.

A soft buzz from her phone pulled her out of her thoughts. It was a text from Ino.

Ino: Forehead! Guess what?! I saw Professor Hatake today, and holy crap, you weren't kidding! He's a total dreamboat. I'm already planning my wedding vows.

Sakura rolled her eyes, typing a quick response.

Sakura: Don't get too ahead of yourself. He's just a teacher, remember?

Ino: "Just a teacher"? Come on, Sak, you've seen him. There's no way you don't think he's hot.

Sakura bit her lip, her fingers hesitating over the keys.

Sakura: He's good-looking, yeah, but that's it.

Her lie sat heavy on her chest as she hit send. The truth was, her feelings were a mess, and the last thing she wanted was for Ino-or anyone-to know just how deep her thoughts had been spiraling.

Ino's response was instant.

Ino: Ugh, I wish I had him for more than just one class! You're lucky you get him for a whole period at the end of the day. What's he like in class? Is he strict? Mysterious? Or maybe... something more?

Sakura stared at the screen, her mind flashing back to the intensity in his eyes when he said, "You want to be noticed for who you really are."

Sakura: He's just... serious about writing. That's all.

She tossed her phone onto her bed, not wanting to deal with any more of Ino's probing questions. Her stomach churned with uncertainty. There was no way she could explain what was happening, not even to herself.

What was happening?

The next day felt like a blur of normality, the mundane routine of school moving around her while she remained lost in her own head. Every class felt like a countdown until the final period-creative writing.

By the time the last bell rang, her nerves were on edge, her heartbeat quickening as she made her way down the hallway toward the classroom. Each step felt heavier than the last.

When she stepped into the room, Professor Hatake was already there, leaning casually against his desk, his dark eyes focused on the lesson plan. For a brief moment, Sakura felt the air leave her lungs. His presence was overwhelming, even when he wasn't speaking.
