Could it be love!

A new position!

Nico shakes everyone's hand, and he heads out the door. He is heading to speak to Kevin. He arrives at the school and he makes his way to the office. He sits down with Kevin, and they will speak. 

(N) How are you?

(K) I am good, how are you?

(N) I have a few questions. 

(K) Ok. 

(N) Mack has been offered the new position for headmaster at the boy's private school. They have offered him two hundred thousand dollars a year to take over. 

(K) He is leaving. 

(N) I am not sure. I know you are going to have an administration position opening up. What would be the salary, and do you think we could negotiate with the school board. 

(K) I barely make over one hundred and twenty thousand. I do not think they would come close to the two hundred thousand dollars a year. I think he should take it if he could get it. 

(N) What could you do? 

(K) I could maybe get him the same pay as me. 

(N) Do you think we could get you both more if you had more students enroll? 

(K) I do not follow. 

(N) You have a lower-class count. What if we could persuade some students to make the switch to here. We could try and get you both a raise. 

(K) How could we do that?

(N) I have a lot of ties, and they are sick and tired of the way the current administration pushes things under the rug. I could speak with some of them and see if we could get donations to help with the salaries. I just do not want to have a coup with the other teachers. 

(K) How many are you thinking?

(N) I think I could get thirty off the top of my head. If I could get them all to donate ten thousand dollars each to help boost both of your salaries that would bring it up. We could also let Mack try and encourage other parents to bring their students here. We are an open state you do not have to live in the district. 

(K) I do not want to lose him. 

(N) I am going to speak with the board. 

(K) Let me call them now and I will call you in an hour. What else do you have to do today?

(N) I am fixing to be on my way to speak to the other board. Mack said if he left, he wanted thirty spots for his math team members. He also said he wanted you as his second in command. Would you leave this school?

(K) If I got to keep my friendship with Mack and I made my current salary, yes, I would make the move. 

(N) You call your board, and I will call you in an hour. 

(K) Ok. 

Nico gets up and makes his way to the board meeting for his son's private school. He sits down and you will see many people talking. Nico(N), Board member(B), Headmaster(H). 

(H) Thank you for coming Nico. 

(N) Thank you for having me. 

(B) We understand your soon to be husband is considering taking the position. We need to fill it soon and we think his connection on his platforms would help fill some of the boarding rooms. We think it would help tremendously. We are willing to offer him double the salary of the current position if he can fill all the beds. 

(N) Ok, I see where you priorities lie. Torrin is being bullied and the current headmaster is brushing it under the rug. I want to know what we can do with it.
