Hau swiftly called out, "Decidueye, I choose you!"
In response, Ash declared confidently, "Incineroar, let's do this!"
"The battle begins!" the referee announced, excitement electrifying the air.
"Decidueye, let's immobilize it! Use Spirit Shackle!" Hau commanded, his eyes locked on Ash.
With precision, Decidueye fired its arrow, striking Incineroar right on target.
"Since we have a massive type disadvantage, we need to end this quickly," Hau thought to himself, determination burning in his chest. "Time for a Z-move!" he shouted, raising his arms dramatically.
Hau executed the poses with flair, calling out, "Ruler of the Silent Forest, Decidueye! Alright, use Sinister Arrow Raid!"
Meanwhile, Ash's friends were on the edge of their seats.
"Why isn't Ash doing anything?" Alain wondered aloud.
"He could be out of this match if he doesn't act!" Trevor added anxiously.
"He's too calm; I think he's got something up his sleeve," Gary remarked, nodding knowingly.
They all focused back on the battle, tension mounting in the air.
Ash took a deep breath, ready to unleash the fruits of his training. "Incineroar, you ready?" he asked, confidence radiating from him.
"Incineroar!" the fiery Pokémon roared back, pumping its fists with pride.
"Alright, break free from Spirit Shackle! Heat up your fists and deflect that Z-move with Darkest Lariat!" Ash commanded, his voice firm and resolute.
With a powerful surge, Incineroar broke free, flames igniting around its fists. It spun into action, becoming a fiery tornado as it executed Darkest Lariat.
"Now lean into the attack!" Ash shouted, excitement coursing through him.
Gasps echoed through the stadium; everyone could feel the tension. Alola natives knew just how powerful Z-moves could be, and Ash's reckless strategy shocked them.
Before they could fully comprehend what was happening, a massive explosion rocked the arena, sending a cloud of smoke billowing into the air.
As the smoke cleared, both Pokémon stood tall, ready for more.
"WHAT?!" the announcer shouted in disbelief. "Incineroar barely took any damage from that powerful Z-move!"
The crowd took a moment to process the spectacle before erupting into cheers for Ash.
"He sure knows how to make a battle exciting to watch!" Serena exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
"Yeah, you never know what he's going to do next," Gary added, excitement bubbling in his voice.
Incineroar flexed its muscles, taunting Decidueye with bravado, clearly enjoying the thrill of battle.
Hau, however, felt frustration mounting. Ash noticed his opponent's growing agitation and decided it was time to take control.
"Charge straight at Decidueye, Incineroar! Use Darkest Lariat!" Ash commanded, determination blazing in his eyes.
Caught off guard, Hau shouted, "Q-Quick! Dodge it!" But it was too late. Incineroar spun into Decidueye, delivering a devastating blow.
