"We've detected various wormholes opening above each island!" Lusamine announced, urgency lacing her voice.
"Do we know which Ultra Beast it is?" Gladion asked, his expression tense.
Lusamine and Kukui exchanged glances, then turned to Ash. "It's him, isn't it?" Ash asked, his heart racing. They both nodded solemnly. Lusamine quickly pulled up an image on the monitor.
"Guzzlord," Ash said, recognition flashing in his eyes.
"You've encountered it before?" the Alolan students exclaimed, their curiosity piqued.
"Yeah, when I battled Tapu Koko. The powerful electric moves collided, creating a blinding light, and then a portal opened. When I arrived in the other dimension, it was just rubble and dust everywhere—just a destroyed Alola," Ash explained, the memory flooding back.
"Wow, so how did you get back?" they asked, hanging on his every word.
"Another member of the Ultra Recon Squad helped me send it back where it came from, but it wasn't easy," Ash replied, determination sharpening his tone.
"Do you know any weaknesses or its typing?" Sycamore asked, his mind racing with strategies.
"What I've learned is that its second head on top of its big mouth is a weak spot. It's a Dark and Dragon type. Fairy types are the most effective against it," Ash informed them, confidence growing.
Suddenly, a monitor began flashing red. Faba rushed over, eyes wide. "Ash, come take a look at this!"
Ash's heart sank as he approached. "No, this is bad," he said, his voice tense. The screen showed the portals above each island, and one by one, Guzzlords began to emerge.
"Kukui, we need to divide into four teams and send them back as quickly as possible! Those portals won't last forever!" Ash urged, adrenaline pumping through him.
"The Kahunas have made their way back to their islands and started battling as we speak," Lusamine added, urgency ringing in her voice.
"Then we don't have much time!" Ash declared, resolute. "Professor, get four boats ready for each island while everyone groups up!" Kukui nodded, moving quickly toward the docks.
"We want to help too!" Sycamore and the students chimed in, determination in their voices. Ash hesitated, unsure, but decided not to argue.
"Alright, we'll split into teams of five!" Ash announced, rallying his friends. "Team one: Alain, Marin, Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna!"
"Team two: Sawyer, Calem, Gary, Serena, and Dawn!" he continued, assigning teams quickly.
"Team three: Clemont, May, Misty, Paul, and Miette!"
"Last team will be Sophocles, Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, Lillie, and Gladion."
"I'll be on standby if you ne—"
BBBOOOMMM!!!!
"What was that?!" Faba exclaimed. They rushed to see what had happened.
"There's one here too!" Ash shouted, determination flooding his veins. "Lucario, I need your help!" He threw his Poké Ball into the air.
"I'll handle this one; you guys get going!" Ash called out, adrenaline surging. But Serena's voice trembled with concern. "But wait, Ash! It could be dangerous!"
"I'll be fine!" he reassured her as he sprinted out of the room, Lucario by his side.
"We better get to the docks!" Gladion said, urgency in his voice. They all dashed toward the boats, determined to help the Kahunas.
