TW: possessiveness, slight violence

Emmet texted me again. He's texted me at least 10 times in the past hour. Desperate a bit?

Sorscha noticed it because my phone is just endlessly vibrating, "Is he still texting you? That has to have been at least ten euros." I rolled my eyes.

"I know right. There's no way he isn't spending like 100 euros per hour." I place another card down. We're playing UNO and I'm currently in the lead with 4 cards and Sorscha i behind me with 25 cards. I can't really figure out how she managed that. Maybe it's the constant draw 4's I've been putting down. Doesn't help we're playing stacked either.

She fake pouts, "Clo how is thi-" she gets cut off by my phone again, "I love you, you know that but if he texts you one more time I'm snapping that phone in half."

I look at my phone. 5 new message.

*Hru?*

*Can U meet up?*
*Hello??*
*Clodagh.*
*Hiiii, answr me.*

Ugh. I already am hating this relationship. I toss my phone on the floor with a pillow over it to hopefully mute the sound and vibrations. Sorscha holds back a laugh.

"Why'd you get with him if you aren't absolutely infatuated with him?" I shrug my shoulders at her.

"I don't know Sorsch. Maybe It's just the want to be in a relationship but I can't break up with him a couple hours after we literally got together."

"I mean.." She held out the last word. I look at her with a "No" look.

She places down a draw 4, I place a draw 4, she places a draw 4. And I stare at her with a shocked face. I was at 2 cards and now I'm up to 14, "Sorscha Doyle! You did not!"

"Oh but I did." She giggles and places down another normal card as I'm stuck drawing 12 of them. I give her a joking death glare as she just smirks at me. As it turns out she managed to use her huge deck of cards to reverse to herself so much so, she's down o 5 and I'm up to 14. Not so slowly but surely she ended up yelling "Uno!"

For it being a game of luck, she wins every round no matter how many cards she has. It's so weirdly lucky and yet infuriating. This is our 3rd round since we got home from school and every time she's won.

"How do you win every single time?"

"I'm just good like that." She smirks again.

"Sorsch. It's a game of luck. You have to have luck that you get a good card. And yet you always get it."

"Don't get at me because you're luck doesn't help you to win." She raises her hands in defeat. I roll my eyes and giggle. I love spending time with her.

This is the 5th day of me staying at her house. Either my parents arent home because of work or the bar, or they have people over. It's annoying and upsetting. I can't even live in my own house because they keep partying. Why did we even move to Ireland in the first place if it all they were going to do was ignore me?

It's okay. I have Sorscha. And Emmet?

Speaking of him. He is still texting me and blowing up my phone. I can slightly hear the vibrations
*Hellooo??*
*Clodagh.*
*Answr me.*
*Plz*

"Sorscha, please respond to him for me. I can't do this anymore." My voice was very obviously annoyed at him.

Sorscha looks at me, very enthusiastically and practically yells "Yes! Please!"

I laugh and stretch my body off the bed to grab my phone which was previously thrown off the bed. Once I grabbed it I handed it off to her. She seemed to type extremely fast. The complete opposite of how I type. She likes to describe it as "Grandma Typing".

She clicked send, saying it out loud.

I didn't read it, She types very fast but it was a lot and I don't want to know what she said. So I put my phone down, there weren't any new messages after she sent a message. I don't mind that. I prefer it.

Her mom opens the door and calls out. She brought pizza home since Sorscha's dad was working late. This time though, the pizza was nice and hot, the soda she brought home was cold and it had ice in it. She must have overheard me telling Sorscha my favorite pop was Sprite. Her mom got Dr. Pepper, she got Root Beer.

Dinner was great. The conversations never stayed the same for more than a minute but the chaos is my favorite part about this family.

In the morning, Sorscha and I got dressed and headed off to school. Emmet noticed Sorcsha and I and stomped up to her. I looked at him in confusion but so did Sorscha.

"Sorscha, right?" He had an irish accent but it had a scottish hint to it. He was in that awkward stage of his voice not being high but it also wasn't quite deep.

"Er.. yeah? Can I help you?" She just stood there confused.

"Yeah how about you not talk to my girlfriend." Ew. I hate the sound of that. Why did I ever agree to this, "I know all about your kind."

"My kind? What am I? An animal? Really Emmet?"

"Yes you are. You're just upset that you can't get a girlfriend."

"Emmet. I don-" she seemed to have cut herself off, "Im not going to steal your girl." She put girl in quotation marks.

"Just leave us be to get to school please."

"No. I'll walk with her to school. You can walk alone."

"Emmet- I-" he grabbed my hand and started to drag me to school. I looked at Sorscha and my face was just fearful. I tried to get free from his hand but I was way smaller than him.
