I'll respond later. I have sleep to chase amd a baker's dozen of blades to make, and I can't even be fully certain on what blade to make.

Type? Yes - she's clearly a longsword user. Size is estimatable. Design, on the other hand...

At least the twelve trainee swords were clearly stated to have no embroidery. That's easy to work with.

This won't be too hard.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?"

Minnie perhaps sums it up best.

"I demand to see Solomon immediately!" Camael storms off in the direction of Judica.

It turns out that Bridget Cumberbach wants her swords by the sunset of two days' time - according to Tobias, sent to the dining hall to nochalantly deliver the news. Of course; the Royal Swordsmith won't just be making swords for one person at a time. There'll be new recruits, rusted blades, lost weaponry. This is testing how fast we can work.

Having now understood the assignment, I finish breakfast and leave immediately for the workshops.

Oh, thank goodness they have furnaces that are constantly burning. Otherwise the deadline would be much too difficult to meet.

Heat, shape, carve, solder - I spend more than two hours in this exact rhythm. Yet, when I finally stop for a bathroom break, only two swords are fully completed, even with my enhanced abilities.

This is going to be strenuous. Very strenuous.

Need any help?

I stop short. I know exactly who's speaking, but dare I respond?

You've been using merely a fraction of our power. I can grant you the power of a deity, and all will respect and admire you.

Power immeasurable, worshipped by all. You will be able to strike down whoever you wish, and no-one will bat an eyelid.

Or you can continue living this desolate life, hiding in the shade and constantly in fear of somebody discovering you.

The choice is yours.

I want to say yes, for a split second, to ease the hard work I foresee myself doing; to not have to suffer under this name any longer; to not have to continually resist everything.
