Sex with Taehyung was always mind-blowing. Usually, a night with him would qualm Jungkook's fears, and allay his trepidations about what each day would bring. Though their time in Greece and their night in Korea-town were magical, Jungkook still felt raw. On edge. He'd felt this way before several times in his life. But this time, he felt he had a true ally in Taehyung. That sentiment caused him to take deep breaths and try to relax.

But the night before was indeed magical. Taehyung had reciprocated the feelings that Jungkook had for him.

All of me ALSO loves all of you.

He smiled slightly and he felt his heart fill up which caused water to build up in his eyes.

He looked at Taehyung's side of the bed and saw that he had slipped out of bed upon leaving Jungkook's embrace. Jungkook then heard Taehyung's feet—taking steps into the main living area.

Jungkook knew that he couldn't lie around all day reminiscing about the time they had in bed the night before. The two were on an important assignment. Jungkook couldn't get distracted.

The confession intruded his mind again. All of me also loves all of you... As he made his way into the bathroom, he felt euphoric. As he smiled to himself, he said in a whisper "That man surely knows how to make a guy swoon."

After showering and getting dressed, Jungkook walked to the large window in the main living area. He stood still for a moment, his breath hitching in his chest as he glanced around Koreatown. Taehyung had let the window up so Jungkook could tell the air was thick with the scent of barbecued meats and spices wafting from nearby food trucks. The neon lights above the establishment across the street buzzed like a steady hum.

His gaze flickered toward Taehyung, his anchor, his rock-solid foundation, the one who loves all of him. Taehyung stood a few feet away. Jungkook watched him as he fidgeted with the straps on the crossbody bag he was to carry.

The two got ready to begin their quest. Before leaving to go downstairs to the street, they retrieved the last of Jungkook's go-bags from the Airbnb, the bags packed with everything that came with them: loads of cash and credit cards. The only money that they didn't have was in a bank in the Mediterranean.

The two had a destination now, a clue. 685 Park Avenue. A place Jungkook's dead lawyer, Gerard, had cryptically mentioned in his notes. The spot where Yerin hinted at Jungkook's having his last recital. Then Yoongi confirmed the location's relevance through his research.

There was something about this place.

Namjoon and Yoongi were supposed to meet them, but they had gotten tied up, saying they would be an hour late. The unease crept in, so Jungkook and Taehyung had agreed — they couldn't wait. They would make a move.

"We need to go before I lose my nerve," Jungkook muttered under his breath, glancing at his Apple watch. His pulse was racing. "If Gerard's clue means what I think it does..."

Taehyung nodded, tightening his grip on one of the bags. "Let's go."

The subway ride to the Upper East Side felt longer than usual, their destination looming ahead like a dark secret waiting to be uncovered. When they finally arrived at the imposing building, 685 Park Avenue, the grand marble lobby felt cold and intimidating. The doorman's eyes flickered toward them with mild suspicion, but Taehyung offered him a slight nod, and Jungkook's pretend confidence carried them through. They took an elevator to the third floor.
