FAMILY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

As the sun rose, Briana heard the curtains being drawn and minutes later she felt her lips gaining contact with others. She opened her eyes just to lock gazes with the love of her life.

"Morning beautiful."

"Morning handsome."

"Come on, get up. I made breakfast and am not letting it get cold."

"Aww... but am still tired."

"Not happening. Come on. You'll be late for work."

"Fine."

She replied and sat up in bed.

"I'm up."

"Really? I meant you get out of bed and go downstairs. You're the one that said not breakfast in bed so don't try me. Come on."

"But I don't want to..."

She whined trying to make him reconsider.

"Do I have to carry you?"

"No sir. I am up."

She said as she put on her slip-ons and got out of the room.

"You forgot your work phone!"

He said and followed behind with the phone.

As Briana took a seat at the dining table, Ricky came up to her, gave her a peck again and placed her phone on the table.

"That thing has been ringing for the past 3 and half hours. Check it."

He said taking the seat next to her.

"Babe it's too early for work."

"It's 7:30am."

"Work is at 8:30. I have time."

"Fine. But still."

"Yes love. I'll check. After, I finish this delicious meal you have prepared."

"Fine then."

"Oh-kay. Let's do this."

I took the cup and took a sip of coffee.

After eating the breakfast, she rushed into their room and took a shower. She came back with a handbag, wearing a black floral dress with black heels. She walked into the kitchen after placing her handbag in the living room and hugged Rick from behind as he washed the dishes.

"Someone smells nice."

"Thanks bae."

"So, we're going back tomorrow night."

"Aww... but I was enjoying the simple life."

"I know baby but, the companies need us."

She shrugged and let go while taking a set on the kitchen counter.

"I know you're tired but time comes for everything that is supposed to happen."

"Can't we go next week?"

"We have to go tomorrow. We can always have a vacation another time."

"You know that's not true."

"Time is coming. You'll have me all to yourself again. And you know it's your birthday this Saturday. I'll be all yours."

"Don't forget about Vincenzo."

"You know I never forget about him. You'll go and Saturday night, we are going out for dinner."
