THE FULL MOON

Scarlett woke up as early as 5 am just to find herself looking around the room. In doing so, she found herself staring at one of her baby pictures. She got out of the bed and walked up to the framed picture. She grinned as she examined the photo.

One thing that caught her attention was that she had white hair in the picture but as far as she knew herself, she was a blonde. She was confused to the max so her only resort was to go to her sister, or her parents and ask. She walked into her bathroom, took a shower, got dressed and walked up to her sister's door. She knocked and got into the room.

"Sis. You busy?"

"Oh... Scarlett. Hey."

She said turning to her bed while she folded some of her clothes.

"Hi. Am... I know it's a bit too early but... I was wondering if I could ask."

"What about?"

"My Hair."

"Your hair? What's wrong with it?"

She asked and froze for a bit as if the question was confusing.

"I was looking at our childhood pictures and noticed that I was a white head."

"Oh, you mean that? Don't worry about it. We all went through that phase. White hair at birth and then blonde and the like as we grow."

She said as she started folding her clothes again.

"Really?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Are you sure because I noticed you twitched a little before explaining that?"

"What do you mean? Of course, I am sure?"

"Savannah, are you lying to me?"

"Nah Lil sis. I can never lie to you. You know me."

"Yeah... I know you. Therefore, I know when you are lying."

"Scarlett I..."

She interrupted her as she opened the bedroom door.

"Don't... anymore. I've heard enough."

She said and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her violently.

****

Breakfast was served and Scarlett came down the stairs walking into the dining room looking gloomy and betrayed.

"Are you alright Twi?"

"Yeah... am fine... Sav. Just great."

"But your body language says otherwise."

"Drop it."

"Alright then."

"I'll be heading to the Villa by 10am."

"Why so early?"

"I just want to be with mom and dad so early that's all."

"Are you sure?"

"Why are you asking too many questions? Am I not old enough to make my own decisions?"

"No, you are but..."

"But what Savvy? Can't I drive? I have a driver's license, don't I?"

"Of course, you do but..."

"But what!?"

"You look too angry to drive."

"Don't make me change my mind to go early."

She said, took a donut and walked out of the dining room and went straight to hers.
