The morning after their confession to the group, the air between the members felt lighter. Sana and Tzuyu had taken a huge step, and though things weren’t entirely normal yet, there was an undeniable sense of relief that came with no longer hiding. The support from the others had been more reassuring than either of them had dared to hope.

But the next challenge loomed ahead—the fans.

Sana knew this wasn’t going to be easy. TWICE’s fans were loyal, loving, and fiercely supportive, but they were also protective. Dating rumors, especially within the group, had the potential to stir controversy. And despite the acceptance from their bandmates, Sana couldn’t help but feel a growing knot of anxiety in her stomach every time she thought about how the world would react.

It wasn’t just about their relationship being out in the open—it was about how this would affect their careers, their image, and everything they had worked for over the years. Could their fans accept this? Or would they see it as a betrayal?

A few days later, TWICE was scheduled to appear at a fan meet event. It was a typical part of their routine, a chance to connect with their ONCEs, share laughs, and answer questions. But this time, it felt different. The weight of their secret was gone, yet a new kind of tension had taken its place.

Sana stood backstage with Tzuyu, both of them dressed in their casual outfits, ready to greet their fans. The other members were scattered around, getting ready as well, but Sana’s focus was entirely on the event ahead.

Tzuyu, noticing the slight fidgeting of Sana’s hands, gently took hold of her wrist. “Are you okay?” she asked softly, her voice low enough that only Sana could hear.

Sana smiled, though it didn’t fully reach her eyes. “I’m nervous. What if things get weird? What if people start asking questions?”

Tzuyu squeezed her hand lightly, her calmness grounding Sana. “We don’t have to say anything if we’re not ready. We’ll take it slow. And if anything happens, we’ll deal with it together.”

Sana took a deep breath, nodding. Tzuyu was right. They had made it through the hardest part—telling the group. This was just the next step.

As the fan meet began, the members of TWICE took their places at the long table, facing the excited crowd of ONCEs. The energy in the room was infectious, and despite her nerves, Sana found herself smiling as she waved at the fans, their familiar cheers and shouts of affection filling the room.

The event started off like any other, with the members answering questions and signing albums for the fans who came up to meet them one by one. Sana and Tzuyu kept their interactions subtle, sitting next to each other but avoiding anything that might give away their relationship. Still, every now and then, their hands would brush under the table, or they would exchange small, knowing smiles.

But then, it happened.

One fan, a girl in her twenties wearing a bright TWICE hoodie, approached Sana with a cheeky grin and a mischievous glint in her eye. After handing Sana her album to sign, she leaned in close, her voice just loud enough for Sana to hear.

“So, unnie... is there any truth to the Satzu rumors?”

Sana froze, her pen hovering over the page. The question hung in the air like a challenge, and for a split second, she felt her heart race with panic. She had been preparing for this, but now that it was actually happening, her mind went blank.

The fan was still smiling, clearly not expecting a serious answer, but the question had drawn the attention of others. A few nearby fans had heard it too, and they were now glancing over curiously.
