The sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the dorm. Tzuyu was the first to rise, her usual calm demeanor shining through the morning haze. She tiptoed into the kitchen, hoping to catch a moment of peace before the chaos of the day began. As she poured herself a cup of coffee, the sound of muffled laughter drifted from the living room.

Sana shuffled in moments later, her hair tousled and a sleepy smile on her face. “Good morning, sleepyhead!” she chirped, wrapping her arms around Tzuyu from behind. Tzuyu couldn’t help but smile, a rare glimmer of softness crossing her features.

“Did you really just call me sleepyhead?” Tzuyu teased, turning to face her. “I thought you were supposed to be the one who sleeps through everything.”

Sana giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Only when you’re not around to wake me up. Besides, someone has to keep you on your toes.”

Their playful banter was interrupted by the entrance of Jeongyeon, who strolled in with a dramatic flair. “Isn’t it too early for your flirt fest? I’m trying to enjoy my breakfast without feeling sick.”

“Jeongyeon, your breakfast is already sick,” Tzuyu shot back, smirking. “It looks like you tried to recreate a culinary masterpiece and failed miserably.”

“Excuse me?” Jeongyeon narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. “At least I attempt to make something. Unlike you, who just drinks coffee like it’s a personality trait.”

“Better than being a breakfast disaster,” Tzuyu replied, her tone teasing but light.

“Ladies, ladies, can we not start our day like this?” Nayeon interjected as she entered the room, shaking her head with an exaggerated sigh. “I’m still trying to recover from yesterday’s rehearsal drama.”

“Drama? What drama?” Jihyo joined them, her hands on her hips. “If anyone caused drama, it was you and your ‘mom’ duties, Nayeon. You know you’re not supposed to put too much pressure on us, right?”

“Don’t bring me into this!” Nayeon protested, feigning innocence. “I’m just trying to keep my children in line!”

Tzuyu shot Jihyo a playful smirk. “Looks like you’re raising a bunch of troublemakers.”

“Don’t look at me,” Jihyo shrugged. “I’m just the one trying to keep you all sane. Especially when you guys are being idiots.”

Dahyun and Momo appeared next, giggling as they entered arm-in-arm. “What did we miss?” Dahyun asked, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

“The usual chaos,” Sana replied, a knowing grin spreading across her face. “Tzuyu’s being savage, as always.”

“Savage? Me?” Tzuyu feigned innocence, raising an eyebrow. “I’m just stating facts.”

“Facts, or savage truths?” Chaeyoung chimed in, snuggling closer to Mina, who leaned into her. The two of them exchanged soft glances, completely absorbed in each other.

“Maybe you’re just jealous that we’re actually getting along,” Mina added, a teasing lilt to her voice.

“Please, if I wanted to get along, I’d just call you two my pets,” Tzuyu shot back, her tone light but with a sharp edge. “But let’s be real; I prefer having my freedom.”

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of admiration. “You know, Tzuyu, one day you might want to tone down the sass, or you’ll scare off all your potential friends.”

“Friends? I have friends,” Tzuyu countered, glancing at Sana with a soft smile. “Just not ones who can’t handle my brilliance.”

Sana blushed, her heart fluttering at Tzuyu’s subtle compliment. “Your brilliance is kind of annoying sometimes,” she teased back.

The group burst into laughter, the light-hearted banter filling the room with warmth. It was moments like these that reminded them of their bond, forged through countless rehearsals, concerts, and late-night talks.

As the chatter continued, Jihyo observed her members with a fond smile. They were a chaotic family, each one with their quirks and charm. But beneath the playful jabs and teasing, there was an unspoken understanding: they were all in this together, and the time they had left as a group was precious.

Later that day, as they practiced for their upcoming performance, Tzuyu noticed Sana’s focus drifting. “Hey, are you okay?” she asked, her voice dropping to a softer tone, the teasing edge fading away.

“Just thinking about…everything,” Sana replied, a hint of sadness creeping into her eyes. “You know how our contracts are almost up?”

Tzuyu nodded, understanding the weight of Sana’s words. “Yeah, I’ve thought about it too. But whatever happens, we’ll be fine.”

Sana smiled, a mix of gratitude and sadness in her gaze. “I just hope we can all stay close, no matter what.”

Tzuyu reached out, squeezing Sana’s hand gently. “We will. Just because we’re done being idols doesn’t mean we’re done being us.”

Their conversation was interrupted by Jeongyeon and Jihyo, who were now engaged in a playful squabble about dance moves. “You’re doing it wrong!” Jeongyeon shouted, trying to demonstrate her point with exaggerated movements.

“Right or wrong, you’re still doing it terribly!” Jihyo shot back, and they both erupted into laughter.

Sana and Tzuyu exchanged knowing smiles, their worries momentarily forgotten. They were still a team, still a family, and that was what mattered most.

As the rehearsal wrapped up, Tzuyu watched her members interact, a warmth blooming in her chest. They may have their differences, their sass, and their quirks, but together they were unstoppable. And soon, they would step into a new chapter of their lives—together

**Author's Note**

Y’all, did Tzuyu just hit *peak savage* or what? 🤣 Calling Mina and Chaeyoung her *pets* while simultaneously roasting Jeongyeon’s breakfast? Honestly, she’s on another level. Also, can we talk about how Sana is just *living* for all the teasing moments? The flirty banter is *chef’s kiss* 😘.

But don’t get too comfy because these contract talks are creeping in, and things are getting real. 😬 Are they about to hang up their mics? Will they become a traveling band of pastry chefs (Sana's dream, obviously)? The future is wide open, and I promise, it’s gonna be wild.

Whether you’re here for the sass, the feels, or the constant flirting (👀), Chapter 21 is going to take this to *another* level. So don’t leave me hanging! Let’s see where this chaotic family goes next!

P.S. Who else wants to see Jeongyeon’s “culinary masterpiece” next chapter? 🍳
