Blood rushed to every corner of my body. Heart pumped so fast I could feel it my neck. A small part of me woke up. A small ball of light grew larger and larger. My consciousness was coming back and it hurts. It really hurts.

Being gone does not feel like anything. You are just gone. Pain slip away, like everything else does. Being alive is what hurts the most. I could feel it in the lack of air in my lungs. No matter how much I breathed, I couldn't get enough.

Besides being conscious, I had very little awareness of my surroundings. The sound of my heart keeping me alive, blended with the sound of rustles going on all around me.

What, what is happening?" A dirt covered girl voices spoke out from the darkness around us.

I rushed to stand up. Pushed my hands in the dirt below me, leaned on a tree. A large one. Unmistakable one.

"Who are you?" Said another person. Who turned out to be Tracy. Human Tracy. I looked at the person they were talking to. Who they asked all of these questions.

Spiky hair and black coloured jacket standing few feet away from me. I knew who it was. My breath steadied and little of that gut wrenching feeling washed away.

"I'm your alpha. And all of you?" He pointed to us who were standing beside the nemeton. "All of you belong to me."

Theo turned away and walked. As if I had no control over my legs I took closer steps to where he found himself now. It seemed the other also felt that way. I saw Hayden there. Covered in blood and mercury. On ground laid a lifeless body. Lydia.

My heart dropped to my stomach. "Lydia." I called out for her. Shook her body. She was breathing. Moving her eyes slightly. "Lydia." I asked. She scares me even more now.

A irony grip took a hold of my arm. Dragged me away. My shoes collected dirt at the bottom. Branches scraped my arms. "Let go of me," I yelled. Theo grip only got tighter.

I wrapped my hand around his arm. Dug my nails deep in them. Warm substances dripped on my arm. Theo groaned in pain. He spun me around and slammed my body against a tree.

All the air left my lungs. A vibration of pain circled around the back of my head. I traced my hand around the area. Blood stained my finger tips. Blood stained my whole body. I wanted to scream. To get angry. To feel anything, but I just stood there. Everyone just stood there silently. Waited for the next thing to happen.

Theo had his back turned on me. He brushed his hand through his hair, before turning around. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. He apologised to me. He look at the others. Who were just as phased by the whole situation.

"You, I remember you." One of the boy said. He pointed to Theo. "At the hospital, you killed me."

"There is worse thing than death." Theo defended himself.
