She fastened her teeth into the crows neck, she pricked her ears at it let out a final distressed call. The other crows flocked away. Her stomach rumbled with hunger as the taste of blood filled her mouth. She loosened her grip on the crows neck and began to pluck out feathers, with food she'd have energy, hopefully enough energy to escape. After she finished plucking out the feathers she began to eat. Chewing up bits of flesh and meat. She layed the bones down and looked up, a burst of energy rushing through her. She decided to stick some feathers in her fur. "Camouflage.." She mumbled softly to her self. She jumped up gripping her claws into  one of the rocks, Fawns climbing in which she likely did a lot had made a easier grip on the rocks. She heaved herself up, reaching her front paw to grab onto the other rock above then raising her other front paw to said rock. Rainstar raised her back legs and pulled herself up once more. Soon enough she had made it out of the hole, she huffed for air, she needed a break but that break wouldn't come, yet. She had to get back to RiverClan- FAST. She sniffed the air, Fawns scent was stale- she had to be fast. She stretched her paws and began to run, dodging through trees and skidding to a halt as she reached the border. She felt a voice in her head. telling her something. 𝘙𝘰𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵. She nodded, rolling in  a batch of fern. Hopefully her scent would be covered. She trotted towards camp. 𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. She nodded, an idea burst into her mind. She braced herself, hopping across the river and landing on the other side. She shuffled herself into one of the bushes that sheltered RiverClan camp. "Rainstar is gone!" Fawn shouted. "WHAT?" A few cats yowled in response. "Rainstar was a weak leader, she told me she never cared about the clans or the cats around her! So I killed her." Fawn began to speak. She wanted to move, but she was frozen in shock. All she could do was watch. "Before she died, she declared me leader in hopes that I'd ruin the clans, but I promise to make RiverClan stronger then ever!" Fawn yelled, her voice echoing. "This is outrageous!" Sweetberry mewed in disbelief. "Rainstar would never do such a thing, Your fawn! The cat who was supposedly infected." Sweetberry spat. Rainstar let out a sigh of relief, atleast somecat would defend her. "Hush your lies Sweetberry, You know what." Fawn smiled, her tail flicking. "You, kill Sweetberry." Fawn pointed her tail at Ivywing. "O-Okay.." Ivywing mewed pouncing onto Sweetberry. Rainstar hissed, her eyes widening with anger she rose to her paws and jumped out of the bush, knocking Ivywing over with a thump. "AH- WHAT!" Ivywing gasped. Fawn looked at Rainstar. "Your supposed to be 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥" Fawn hissed, her fur bristling. "Fishbrain.." Rainstar mewed, pinning Ivywing. "Fawn is a liar!" She yelled, loud enough for every cat to hear. "I believe Fawn, You've always been reckless Rainstar." Pondfoot mewed. She gasped. "Same" A few other cats mewed in unison. Her eyes widened. "You must be all Fishbrained! Rainstars the greatest leader we've had, have you all forgotten how hard she fought in the battle against the rogues? How she always put her clanmates first? She was the one who warned us about the rogues! Who risked her life for her clans sake!" Sweetberry yowled. Cats exchanged confused glances. "That was moons ago!" Pondfoot hissed. "Though we are no longer mates, Rainstars one of the kindest cats I met. She cares about us, she cares about every cat and she's proved that many times. You'd all be mousebrained to not support her. Rainstars the right leader for RiverClan, not Fawn. StarClan gave Rainstar nine lives for a reason." Badgerfrost mewed. A few other cats nodded in agreement, Fawn casted a look of pure anger. "Rainstars weak, let me be your leader and I'll make RiverClan stronger then ever." Fawn spat, flicking her tail. Featherfoot stepped up. "I'll always follow In Rainstars pawsteps. I have seen the most alongside Littlestorm, my brother. The second Rainstar stepped foot into this clan it was clear the great cat she would become, StarClan foretold her arrival moons ago when me and Littlestorm were just apprentices. Rainstars the greatest leader the clans have ever seen. Those who follow in your pawsteps Fawn will be cursed to the Dark forest for defying StarClans chosen." Featherfoot mewed, her voice carrying along the wind like a birds song.  Fawn gasped, Rainstar locked eyes on her for a moment. Fawn was clearly trying to think of a response.  "How do we know your not lying?" Fawn hissed. Littlestorms eyes widened. "How dare you curse my sister with lying? Featherfoots the most honest cat I've met other then Rainstar. She'd never lie." Littlestorm growled, letting out a small cough. "Shush it you oldie! No cat cares about your ancient words." Fawn snapped, a few cats who agreed with her before suddenly casted angry glances. Fawn looked down with a sense of regret. "Should've  chosen better words Fawn."  Sweetberry giggled. A few other cats nodded in agreement.  "Oh, shush it Sweetberry, the clans will bow down to me soon enough when they see how powerful I am. " Fawn spat. "Your not as powerful as you think you are, you may be descended from those two-leg torture den cats but that doesn't make you powerful." Rainstar mewed. "You don't scare me and you never will. You're outnumbered Fawn. " Fawn backed up, suddenly realizing the position she was in, but her stress seemed to settle. "Rainstar clearly isn't the right leader for RiverClan! Notice how all the cats defending her are one she's close to? She could've easily manipulated them into defending her. " Fawn smirked, her words seemed to hypnotize the cats into turning onto Rainstar. A ton of her beloved clanmates nodded in agreement. Her eyes widened with shock. "Rainstar and your friends, you must leave!" A cat shouted, a few other cats began to chant. She gasped, how could her clanmates turn on her so easily? She hissed. "Fine we'll leave, but soon you'll see whos right for RiverClan." Tanglewhisker hissed. Rainstar nodded, "We're headed to ThunderClan." She whispered. Her groupmates nodded and they followed Rainstar across the river. "My paws ache!" Sweetberry complained. "Shush. Every cats paws hurt." Tanglewhisker spat. Rainstar cast a glare. "Lets wait at the border." Featherfoot mewed, pointing her tail towards Sunning rocks. "I want to swim across!" Sweetberry mewed, jumping into the water with a splash. "I suppose we could all swim, it'll be a nice refresher after all the drama that has just happend." Rainstar purred, jumping in after Sweetberry. The group swam across and climbed up onto Sunning rocks. "Now, we wait." Featherfoot turned her head. "I think it'd be better to walk to their camp, its to late for patrols." She suggested, Rainstar nodded. "Thats wise, I suppose we can do so." Rainstar responded, Foxstar would trust her she knew for a fact. "Yeah.." Badgerfrost mumbled eerily. "Oh my carp!" Sweetberry gasped jumping back. "What?" Rainstar glanced over concerned. "Its a cute little bug!" Sweetberry gasped, her eyes widened with excitement. "Did you really have to scare us all over a stupid bug?" Tanglewhisker hissed. "Shut up, its not a stupid bug! Anyways, lets keep going." Sweetberry mewed. Rainstar nudged Sweetberry with a ruffled purr of amusement. They padded through the forest. "How can cats live without no rivers in sight?" Badgerfrost mewed, sticking his tongue out. "No idea." She rolled her eyes. Badgerfrost cast a glance at her as if she said something wrong but she ignored it. Soon enough they reached the ThunderClan camp. She hesitated for a moment before stepping down the tunnel into the camp. The two cats on guard glanced over with a shocked expression. "Oh my squirrels- is this an attack?" The youngest one gasped, Bouncetail. "This isn't an attack. We need Foxstar, right now!" She mewed. "How do we know your not planning anything.. like an.. ATTACK!" Bouncetail mewed, circling Rainstar. "Because if we were planning an attack, we wouldn't have two medicine cats with us." She hissed, how could this young warrior be so annoying? "True enough.. but I'll be keeping an eye on you." Bouncetail cast a sharp glare at the group. "Bouncetail you stay put, I'll take care of this." Rosefoot mewed. "Pardon her hyperness, she only became a warrior a moon ago. Now follow me." Rosefoot dipped her head and walked to the clearing. The group followed closely behind.
