I S A I A H

When I arrived in front of her door, I hesitated to knock.

Do I really want to be bothered by her nonsense? Hear her yapping about stupid shit and getting on my nerves?

You know you do.

Shut. Up.

Sighing, I bent my head and knocked twice before dropping my hand. I waited until I heard her tiny footsteps moving towards the door.

It swings open and I'm met with a flushed Zariah. I frowned slightly at her state and tilted my head. She steps to the side and lets me in.

"What's wrong with your face?" I asked as I stepped inside.

"I've been looking through all of my clothes and couldn't find not one stupid dress for this date with Damon tonight." She says in an irritated tone while rubbing her forehead.

That's when I looked down and saw her body only being covered by a towel. It leaves nothing to the imagination and I couldn't help my eyes from wondering down to her silky smooth thick legs. I gulped harshly and looked away from her. "Why did you need me?"

"I wanted to go shopping. Is that allowed?" She says behind me. I hear her shuffling about as I looked at the ceiling, trying to get the image of what her naked body would look like up under mines out of my head. "You can turn around now." She says with a hint of amusement.

"Yes it's allowed if someone goes with you." I say as I turned around. I was relieved and annoyed to see her now fully clothed. She's wearing a loose sweater with biker shorts and she put her hair up in a ponytail. Even in casual clothes she's still the most attractive woman I've ever seen.

And I've seen countless of women.

"Well can we go?" She asks.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I don't feel like driving and I have better shit to do than take you shopping." I say in disgust. She's the only person who has me doing weird requests. Shopping? Getting her nails done? Buying weave and other shit like that? Absurd.

She scoffs and folds her arms across her chest like a child. "Why do you have to be such an ass all the time? As my bodyguard, it's your duty to take me anywhere I want to go."

"And as your bodyguard, I'm telling you no." I state, loving the way she pouts in anger.

She tsk. "Fine. Im sure Damon would love to know that his dear brother is being mean to his wife."

My face fell. "Brat."

"Dick head." She bites back with a triumphant smile.

I sighed heavily and running my hands through my shirt strands of hair. "You are so damn annoying." I mumbled.

"Yea yea just get ya car keys ready and let's go. I'm on a tight schedule here." She says, patting the invincible watch on her wrist with her fingers.

My anger was rising but I didn't want her to know that she was getting under my skin. I'm sure she would get a kick out of it. "Fine. Come on." I grumbled.

She giggled like a school girl and claps her hands. The action was adorable but I didn't show it. She follows me out the room and she walks behind me like a lost puppy as I make my way down the stairs and out the door.

The guards nod their heads at me and I return the gesture.

"Why are they all so intimidating?" I hear her muttering to herself.

"To scare kittens away like you." I snapped.

"Oh fuck you Isaiah."

The pleasure would be mines, little Kitten.
