When you wake up, rouge is draped across you, and you struggle to push her off without touching her. Finally, you manage to wiggle out from under her, standing and yawning. You drag yourself to your bathroom, pissing and brushing your teeth. You change into comfortable clothes, tucking rouge into the blankets and leaving her, on a mission for breakfast. When you enter the kitchen, a few students are giggling with eachother, but they fall silent when you enter the room.
"Mister L/N, do we have class today?" One of the girls asks you.
"Sure, why not?" You grin. "Meet me in the gym at..." you check your invisible watch. "Ten." You nod, grabbing a banana and leaning to prepare.

"Alright guys, we're playing ball today!" You announce, throwing a basket ball into the center of the room. The kids scurry to pick positions, and you blow your whistle, signalling the start of the game. A little while in, a familiar mutant walks into the gym, scanning the room for you. You smile, admiring his scruffy mutton chops and little cat hairs in his hair. You quickly snap yourself out of it, walling over to him.
"Hi." You greet him. He nods, and you stand there for an awkward moment.
"I'll be right back class, max is in charge!" You call to your class, and you and Logan go into the hall to talk.
"So, things have been a little hectic lately, huh?" You try to clear the air, the awkwardness making you shift your feet.
"I like you." Logan announces. Jeez, no foreplay today.
"Ok. I like you to." You say. Another awkward pause.
"But I don't think I'm ready for... a relationship," he sighs. Your heart sinks, but you don't let him see.
"I understand, I'll leave you be," you swallow, turning to walk away.
"Wait! I don't... shit I don't know how to explain it!" He huffs, balling his hands into fists. "I want to be with you... I just don't know if I'm ready to.. be with ya? You know, everyone know?" He let out a breath, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Like fuck buddies?" You raise an eyebrow.
"No! Not like that! I just mean... can we keep it secret, just for now?" He looks at you, and for the first time you see desperation behind his instense gaze.
"Yea, we can do that," you sigh, but deep down your hurt, is he embarrassed to want you? You push those thoughts aside, standing up straight.
"Well, see you later then?" The awkwardness returns.
Your about to leave when he looks around, then grabs your hand. You gasp, and then suddenly his lips are on yours. You melt into the kiss. He tastes just like you imagined he would. Just as quickly as it started, it's over, and he darts away, leaving you dazed and confused.
