And I'll tell her so she knows, I'm broke, but I'm real rich in my head. That I broke a bone that never healed in my hand. So, when I hold her close, I might loosen my grip,
But I won't ever let her go.
I won't ever let her go.

The dinner had gone well, and you had been easily swept back up into his romance and charm. It was hard to stay mad when he looked like that...

Which was why you were now pressed against the bathroom wall of the restaurant, Logan hilt deep inside you, rumbling in your ear about how much he missed you and how sexy you were. You let yourself fall back into his trance, your hands tangled in his hair as he fucked you. Your vision was filled with sparks as heat built between you, and the whole world seemed to fall away. Finally, he came inside you with a deep groan, kissing down your neck. He pulled out, and you whimpered, still hard. He dropped to his knees, taking you into his mouth.

If you'd been told two years ago that you would be in a dirty restaurant bathroom with THE Wolverine attached to your dick, well, you would have laughed right in their face. But here you were, and this was real. You grabbed the back of his head, thrusting roughly into his throat.
He moaned around your dick, making choking noises that turned you on further. Finally, you released, your mouth open in a silent scream. He was forced to swallow, pulling off and wiping his mouth.

"Thanks baby," you smiled gratefully, pulling him in for a kiss. You tugged your pants back up, interlocking your arm with his as you made your way back to the table.

You took a taxi back to the school, giggling as you ran hand in hand back to your suit. Something between you had been resparked, that same teenage love sickness that had faded between the two of you had returned. It was nice, to fall in love with him all over again.

Blush crept onto your cheeks as he swept you up in his big arms, kissing your cheek.

"I love you so much my darlin', I don't deserve you," he carried you up the stairs, opening your door and setting you on the couch.

"You deserve everything my Wolverine, believe me," you held his wrist, looking into his eyes.

He searched your face for a hint of deceit, a sign that you weren't really being honest. But he found none. All he saw was the man that had stood by him through everything, even when he'd hurt you beyond what someone should forgive. But you were still here, with open arms and a warm smile. You'd loved him through thick and thin, never giving up on him.

"Come, join me for a smoke," he held your hand tightly as you made your way to the balcony, leaning over the balcony as he lit a cigarette, taking a puff. He turned to face you, and you gently cupped his face.

"What a beautiful view..." you whispered, lost in the way the moon reflected in his eyes.

"The love that never sleeps," he mumbled, his hand on your waist.

You kiss him, tasting the cigarette on his lips. Despite everything, you love this man with your whole heart, and you never planned on letting him go.

Later that night, you were entangled with Logan in bed, when you woke. You took a moment to listen to his heart beat, feeling a sense of peace and joy within everything. You slipped out of bed, Logan stirring but not waking, snoring softly. You slipped on a hoodie and shoes, walking out of your room and outside. You walked to the little private cemetery, quietly resting at Scott's grave, sitting on the grass.

"Hello dear," you whispered, running a hand over the letters engraved in the stone.

'Devoted and loving husband and son'

How ironic.

You gently kissed two of your fingers, pressing them to his grave, whispering a little prayer. You stood, clearing your throat.

"I thought you'd be out here," Henry's voice startled you. You turned around, smiling warmly.

"He would be so proud of you, never forget that, young one," the large blue man walks over to you, patting you on the shoulder.

"Thank you," you whispered, looking up at the moon as snow flakes began to fall, coating the ground in a thin layer of white.

The reader must be wondering now, is this the end? Is this what forever feels like? I suppose it is.

Logan holds you close, watching the snowfall outside. A Christmas tree is lit up in the corner of your living room, and soft music plays on your record player. You hold a cup of hot chocolate in your hands, taking a little sip.

"I know it's not Christmas yet, but how about an early gift?" Logan asks, grinning mischievously.

"What are you planning, love?" You ask, putting your mug down. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a little ring box. Your breath hitches, and you frantically grab the ring box in your own pocket. He sees it, and lets out a deep, hearty laugh, kissing your forehead with a grin.

"Looks like we had the same idea darlin'" he opens his ring box to reveal a simple but elegant ring. A little tear stings your eye as you open yours, showing him the ring, not as elegant, but both of your initials are engraved into it. You see a moment of great emotion wash over his face, you capture his lips in yours.

"Will you marry me Logan?" You ask softly, resting your forehead against his.

"Only if you'll marry me too," he chuckles.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you!" You giggling, throwing yourself on his lap. He smiles warmly, slipping the ring onto your finger, and you do the same.

"Thank you, for everything," Logan kisses you, and you wrap your arms around his neck. This is definitely what forever feels like, like your whole world is on fire but you've never felt safer before.

And that's just the way you like it.

Thank you everyone who read this book, it helped me get out of a really tough time, and i hope it can help someone else. This has been an amazing journey for me, and I hope you have a wonderful day.

P.S I'm thinking of starting a poolverine fic, but I'm not sure if I should write a full book or oneshots.
