Despite the progress he had made, Nakul couldn't shake the lingering doubts that gnawed at him. The nightmares still came, filled with visions of the curse consuming him and the baby. He worried constantly about whether he was doing enough, whether he could truly protect his child from the darkness that seemed to hang over them.
One evening, after a particularly difficult day, Nakul sat alone in his room, the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him. The baby was asleep, and Abhijeet and Pradyuman had retired for the night, leaving Nakul with his thoughts.
He couldn't deny the love he felt for the baby anymore. It was there, strong and undeniable. But with that love came a new kind of fear—a fear of losing them, of failing them. He was their father now, and that responsibility was terrifying in its enormity.
As Nakul sat in the dimly lit room, he realized that his journey as a father had only just begun. The fear would always be there, lurking in the background, but so would the love. And for now, that love was enough to keep him moving forward.
