Jake soon found himself in the busy cafeteria- his eyes wavering to find the coffee machine. Spotting the huge, black metal, he marched towards it with a sudden timidness in his demeanour. He wasn't used to using the Korean coffee machines yet and seeing how advanced the device was, he was internally panicking.

"What if it turned out a bit too bitter?"

"What if he throws it away?"

"What if I mess up the sugar? I already forgot the amount he had asked me to add-"

A rummage of thoughts clouded his blurry mind, his hands shaking as if, he was giving a speech at the UN. He loved coffee and precisely Americano which he was used to tackle with but a latte did not seem foreign at all, too- it was just the person for whom, it had to be made.

"Ordered a latte, already?", a voice spoke from behind, causing the quivering blonde to jump. "You scared me, Jay!", he huffed, clutching the life out of the paper coffee cup. "And...he doesn't drink in that.", Jay's eyes signalled towards the disposable cup, triggering Jake to throw it away. "Jeez.", he panted.

Jay grabbed a marble blue coffee cup before handing it to Jake. "He only uses this." The shorter scanned the cup which screamed at him that it was required to be handled with care due to its hefty price. "I'll help you. Don't you worry!"

The duo poured steaming hot coffee in the cup before Jay added everything that was needed- successfully guiding Jake as he did it. "He had asked me to add 0.018...no, was it 9? Uh-", Jake heard his newly found friend laughing. "He's messing around.", the males laughed with Jake being a bit shy.

"Now take this before he roars, again.", Jay handed him the cup before striding away.

~~~
"Not bad for your first try.", Heeseung took another sip as he spoke. "The sugar though...", the elder paused, grabbing Jake's screaming soul without a single movement.
"It's almost perfect."
Jake did not know for how long had he held his breath but hearing the approval, he let out a caught up sigh. "I won't fire you unless you just get a bit too much on my nerves or unless, I just feel like it.", the black haired male laughed- seemingly trying to joke around but failing miserably. Jake was shivering, fearing that if he lost that job, his father would bluntly kill him.
"It was a joke you can laugh at, Jake-ssi.", the pronounced male let out a nervous, quivering laugh before returning to his work station.
He was given piles of work- never ending stack of files to innumerable number of records, he had to check it all. "Mr. Secretary, kindly email me the new records of our sales. I'd like to go through them for the upcoming meeting.", Heeseung asked, his eyes fixated on his computer screen.
"Way to be polite to someone.", coming from an elite family, Jake had always been told to look at someone while you speak to them but what Heeseung was doing was nothing but straight up discourteous and impertinent- something that bothered the blonde but...
As if, he had a choice.
"Hello?", he heard fingers clicking, bringing him back to mother Earth. "Quick.", the sass in his boss' voice made him poke his cheek but nonetheless, he nodded.
The beautiful sunshine of Jake's busy morning had already been drowsed under the immense work load that he had failed to realise the appearance of subtle moonlight, shadowing the room he was sitting in- his eyes glued to the computer screen as he made some final re-checks. Finishing his work, he finally looked away after seemingly making out with his computer for some five hours before getting up and staring down from the tall building with his frame towering the variety of plants in his boss' cabin.
"Night, already? Wow.", the clock struck seven past eight, making him realise how dedicatedly he had been working.
"I'm kinda impressed.", a voice called out from behind- astonishing the sub conscious blonde. It was Heeseung. "I'll tell you something. Many of my employee quitted within one day but you lasted for your shift and overtime. Commendable, Jake-ssi.", a sudden pride fuelled Jake's chest before he slightly smiled, bowing as a show of respect.
"I've completed the files that were assigned to me and hence, I'll take my leave.", he made a final bow before marching towards the exit door.
"Jake-ssi...", Heeseung called, causing the male to turn around. The taller walked upto him-standing upfront, a sly smirk evident on his luscious lips. Nearing Jake's ear he whispered, "You're dead meat if you disclose that we live next door. Got it?", the blonde's eyes grew in size, finding his boss' demeanour alarming.
"R-Right, sir.", he quivered.
"Good. As long as you adhere to what I say, you're out of my Torture List.", his assertion caused the younger to stumble upon his own steps. "Leave.", Heeseung turned around to go back to his desk. "Y-You're not leaving?"
"That shouldn't concern you, Mr. Secretary. Your work hours are over.", the taunt was vivid.
"I'm gonna choke him in his sleep, one day..."
