Hello every-nyan [:|]
That means whoever is still reading this story after what, a year from the first chapter? After not updating this story for a long time, I've concluded that I didn't know where I was going and lost inspiration. womp womp, i know.
As I was writing the Fazbear's Frights arc, I realized that I had many ideas for how to continue the story since I started writing it, but the problem was, I had many ideas.I wanted to end the story with a Pizzeria simulator arc, and an epilogue with security breach, maybe even adding Help Wanted to spice things up (as in adding as many fnaf games as I could, I can't handle writing spicy scenes, and this is why i'll never be a successful writer on booktok, but that's another matter).
In one of those many ideas, [Name] and Michael weren't the only one that would in someway arrive thirty years later and still be in their early twenties, but also Alyssa and Jamie (I don't even remember if ...... was in the picture already).
They would have started working for a special team funded by the goverment to know more about how the hell children's souls can be trapped in a robot, kinda like J-gems series of the interviewed, which actually gave me this idea. As you read though, the story went under some changes from this, and I ended up completely diverging from this narrative, and when I tried to bring it back, I had the feeling that what I was writing was more like an info dump or something, so I scrapped the idea altogether.
Then there was the problem of the ending I didn't manage to write. At first I just thought of making both of the protagonists survive the fire of the sixth game, then I thought about a bittersweet (more bitter than sweet) ending, where [Name] was pushed out from the building before the door would close completely, leaving only Michale inside to die, as he was already a rotting corpse, whereas the first ending he wasn't.I don't know if I'll start another fnaf fanfiction, but surely I won't continue this one.
I'm really proud of it though, it was the first ff I've ever written that managed to reach almost 10k reads. I knew that the reads wouldn't reach high numbers, but I was always more happy to see that they would go up hundred after hundred, so it wasn't a complete disappointment, even if the real ones would be under 100 every chapter.
Hopefully I'll regain my inspiration to write again in general, and maybe I'll even post something, either here or on Ao3 who knows.
This is all from fnaf and me, so bye bye.
