I open every door on the second floor, interrupting smoking groups and intimate teenagers. I apologize each time until I reach a quiet, locked bedroom.

I vigorously knock on the door, with all the strength I have left in me.

"Avril?" I say, loudly enough for anyone who's in the room to hear me but not as much as a scream. "It's June!" I try again. "Please..." I need to sit down, so I let myself fall to the ground. The door flies open in a matter of less than a minute, revealing a disheveled Avril and an equally messy-haired Sonny.

"June!" She rushes to hold my body and pull me up. "You look awful, what's up?"

"Oh no." Sonny helps me stand up and they both sustain my body. "June, did you leave your drink unattended?"

"What?" I couldn't think clearly. My head hurt like hell and the music wasn't helping one bit.

"Did you keep an eye on your drink all night long?" Sonny's words get through to me.

"Yeah, I think... But someone... Someone made me a drink?" I could feel myself slip away from reality, it pained me to keep myself awake.

"Who made you a drink?"

"Hunter's friend." I can see Avril and Sonny exchanging looks and that's the last thing I remember.

When I wake up I'm in a room I don't recognize. There's only one bed, an unpacked bag and some man's products on top of a desk. The blinds are mostly down, but the sun shines through the gaps, waking me up.

I look around and I see no one, but I find a glass of water on top of the bedside table. I take it and drink it slowly, gathering my thoughts.

I'm in a man's place, I don't remember anything from last night.

I gasp loudly and then feel relief when I see all my clothes are in place and haven't left. Should I get up?

"You're saying some strange girl is on my bed right now?" I hear a muffled voice coming from somewhere inside the house.
