Bartending was better than I expected. All the guys had funny stories to tell afterward, plus we got to play one of our own songs and some popular covers that cheered the crowd.

"I think even Hunter enjoyed the experience." Jax grins and sips on his coffee. "I never thought I'd enjoy doing this as much."

"Honestly, same. It was pretty cool." Sonny isn't out for once, so he decided it was the perfect day to keep up with our practice.

"There were some hotties out there too." Jax elbows me, his grin growing even wider. "Some are probably too old for me..."

"That's okay." I firmly pat his back. "You have plenty of time to find one."

We hear two loud claps and we turn our heads to the sound's source:

"Gentlemen, we have work to do." Sonny projects his voice loud and clear. "To the basement!"

We all follow.

We play for an hour, we make drinks with a substance we shouldn't even dream of touching at "only" 20 years, and we're thriving. Even the owner is pleased with us.

"Hey, Holt, someone is looking for you!"
