Chapter 38: A knowing looks

Reincarnated or Transmigrated.. back on my last life; I don't really believe in such thing, even in heaven or hell, gods or goddesses. It's just that I don't believe in anything about religions but I do respect some that believe in it.

In my continent which is called "aestra"; some believe about three entity, which is the god of creation, goddess of beauty and god of destruction. The god of creation created our planet "terra" and all the thing in and out of it. The goddess of beauty bless the world with beautiful things and magic while the god of destruction makes the ugliest and cruelest thing to make a balance world,or atleast that's what the book of knowledge says.

I'm a simple mage of a small village in the farthest west side of the aestra continent, I'm having a great time with my childhood friends at the enchanted lake singing while fishing in the middle of the lake when I caught a big fish, excited for my catch, I pull my  fishing rod immediately successfully putting the big blue fish in our boat but I slipped to the side pushing the anchor with my left feet wrap around the anchor's rope pulling me down. I struggle from the start but the more I struggle the more it's hurt so I let go, closing my eyes until my last breath.

If you're gonna ask about me being mage yet I died? I'm a healing and fire mage, contradict with water as you see. Quite amusing for a mage capable of killing level 5-10 monsters just dying from something simple.

Next thing I knew I'm in a new world with a new family and turn out have a animals features, I'm born as a kangaroo cub. Undenial and a bit struggling from birth and all the information, I tried to use my magic. When I feel something tingly in my chest, I understand that my magic is present here but not as strong as before, I think it's because I'm still a baby.

My current mother is not as kind as my past mother but she let our father take care of me and train me until I mature; not because she love and care for us but because she just wants to show off that she's a capable female who takes care of their cubs, it's a plus point when your cubs are healthy and no one died while they grow up.

Me and my brothers from my other fathers are all healthy and eat plenty every meal after our mother eat with our fathers. The only time we ate less is when the ice season come but all in all we're all matured close with each other.

At the age of 15 I already gain my first stripe and my beastman form, the process is actually hard, it's hurt to modify my bones into right places. My father told me I'm strong because I manage to mature earlier than other kangaroo beastman. He told me that beastman matured at their 16th whole seasons or 16 years. When my mother found out about me, she favor my father more making my other fathers jealous, the males plan to hurt him but I overheard it and told my dad. My dad are safe and the scheme stop.

In my 16th years birthday, I already have my own house far from my mother. I trained hard just to get stronger, I fought some collosal beast and gain my second stripes with a large amount of energy crystals and two emerald. I gave my mother one emerald and three crystals then I hide the rest somewhere safe. My father are the favorite one more time, but this time mother gain another three stripes kangaroo beast compare to my father he's stronger because he's at his peek of being a tetra mark beastman. The scheme started again, my father doesn't survive this time. He died trying. I tried to battle that male but he just mock me and mother only look at me dead in the eyes. After everything my father have done to her, how could she be so cruel. They left me with my father's corpse, bleeding and in the edge of dying. I thought I'll die that time but the village healer help me. He help me buried my father, turn out he's my father's sibling in the same litter, they are twins. He healed my wound and help me gain my strength.

After a month, my body completely healed, I thank him a lot and help him for almost five years to repay my dept, He treated me like his own son. In this 5 year I encountered my mother but doesn't really talk to her nor her family, I only talk to my brothers. Now I'm 20 so I told my uncle about my ambition.

I promise to get stronger so I travel across the collosal's habitat and feral areas to have a worthy opponent that will make me strong for exactly a decade. I miss the village, my uncle and my brothers so I plan to came back but a news about our village getting attack by a group of feral make me go back faster than I thought.

I manage to came back haft way to the ongoing war between our males and a large amount of floating beast.  I killed a lot of floating beast from the back and the middle of the village, this time my fire magic are already strong due to me training and using it to some opponent. Gaining the name of "fist of fire" and a title "warrior" or "fighter". We win the war but lose some of my brothers and my uncle. My mother lose some of her mates but who cares, I don't anymore. I cried for those I lose but not sympathize to what she lose. I know she doesn't really care.

The village lacking of healer for a couple of months now, then a news about a group of traveling beastman are coming from the beast city.

The village are not yet healed and some males are still bruises from the war that happened but the village chief welcome them, especially when they saw a lot of female in a weird flying baskets.

I saw a much shorter female with a phoenix male landing first, she's with a leopard beastman and 8 cubs. The way she smile and kiss her mates are amazingly cute. Her outfit looks like the goddess of beauty's dress in the statue on my past life.

I don't know what got me but I just stare at her, she looks so fragile with her slim and small body. I panicked when she cried and hug her mates while clutching her chest, some females cried too in their mate's arms but her silent cries are much noticable than the noisy cries of other females.

When I saw the rest of her mates coming to her, hugging and kissing her, her cubs are trying to comfort her rubbing their face into her legs. I understand now, she love her mates, that's what my mother lack.

The next day I found out that she have three healer mates and some of the females in her clan have atleast one. They have more healer in their clan than others. Quiet smart to accept and value a knowledgeable male as mate.

The tiger king and ape king talk to me and the village chief, they proposed to us to join their city near the peacock village. The city with only have one queen and two kings.

They build the city for an emergency that the beastgod shows to the ape king. My chief Fred is hesitating at first but when he found out that the villagers will have a good accomodations for being the third batch of beastman that join the city.

The city offer protection, the only thing that they want is the villagers to follow the laws  and swear to beast goddess a loyalty to the city.

We agreed but still need to talk to the females to have their opinion in joining a new city.
