𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔

Lessons I have learned in my lifetime,
Sometimes, I ask myself why?
Learning to love myself was hard,
I never thought that I'd make it this far.
People seem to like making fun,
Trying to hurt me worse than the sun,
I just can't comprehend why you would want to hurt me,
You know exactly how it feels but you're too blind to see.
Why would you do the same to anybody else,
Especially, if you know how it felt.
It doesn't seem that I cross anyone's mind these days,
It's like I've already died and gone away.
Not even loved, thought about, or missed,
I just wanted someone to understand my abyss.
Deep down people know I have a beautiful heart and soul,
I'm just trying to see how my life unfolds.
