As the sun rose, Kevin prepared for work. Kyle had already left for school and planned to hang out with Sam, so Kevin had no worries about his son. He got into his car and drove to Euphoria. Upon arrival, he headed straight to Max, the manager's office. "Yes, sir, what was the problem that came yesterday?" Kevin asked as soon as he opened the door.

"You have a meeting with someone. I don't know him, but he said if he can't meet you, he'll bankrupt this restaurant. Please help me, Kevin, I beg you," Max pleaded.

Kevin struggled with himself, debating whether to meet this person or not. This wasn't the first time VIP customers had wanted to meet him, but Max usually handled them. Now, Max was begging him to meet this person, and Kevin knew that if he met the person, no harm would come to the restaurant. "Okay, but this is the first and last time," Kevin agreed. Max sighed in relief. "Thank you so much. Please be free from noon," Max said. Kevin nodded and went back to the kitchen to change into his uniform before starting to cook the orders.

As time passed, Max grew more anxious. When the man from the previous night entered the restaurant, Max almost felt like he was going to pass out from anxiety. "Sir, please take a seat here. I'll go get Mr. Ross for you," Max told the man and hurried to the kitchen to inform Kevin. Kevin quickly changed and made his way to the table. "Excuse me, I heard you were looking for me yesterday. I am the head chef of Euphoria," he said.

The man, who had been looking out the window, turned to look at Kevin and stood up. "Al... Alex," Kevin stuttered, recognizing the love of his life. "How did you..." Kevin couldn't finish his sentence as Alex pulled him into an embrace.

"I missed you so much, love. Why did you disappear?" Alex asked.

"I have reasons, I still do, but please excuse me. I have to get back to work," Kevin said, pushing Alex away and starting to walk back to the kitchen.

"Are you going to be a coward and keep running away? What will you do now, huh? Run to another city now that I've found you? How long are you going to keep this up?" Alex shouted.

Kevin sighed deeply and turned to Alex. "Give me a minute. I'm going to ask for a day off from Max, and I'll tell you my reasons. Stay here," he said. Kevin asked for the day off, knowing the explanation would be complex. When Kevin finally sat down, he began, "Firstly, don't interrupt me when I explain, and secondly, try not to break anything." When Alex nodded, Kevin started his story.

Flashback

"Will you go on a date with me?" Alex asked the guy he liked. Kevin had been his everything since he laid eyes on him two years ago. "But I have never..." Kevin started, but Alex interrupted, "I know, you have never been on a date. Please give me the honor of taking you on your first date." Alex handed Kevin a bouquet of lavender, Kevin's favorite. "O-Okay, I'll go on a date with you," Kevin replied shyly, smelling the flowers. Alex jumped and hugged Kevin.

"Yes! Be ready at 7 PM. I'll pick you up outside your house," Alex said as he made his way towards the door. "Wait, don't go to my house. Pick me up here, outside the gate," Kevin called after him. Alex smiled and nodded. "Okay, see you at 7, here at the gate," he said, running out and jumping into his car. Kevin heard Alex shout, "I'll make you mine tonight!" and blushed.

"Alex asked me out on a date. My crush asked me out on a date," Kevin thought, hiding his face in the lavender bouquet. He pinched his cheek to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Realizing it wasn't a dream, he blushed even more, his ears and cheeks turning red. Just then, Alin entered the classroom. "Who got Kevin blushing red?" she teased, knowing full well who it was. Alex had shouted so loudly that almost all the students still inside the building heard him.

"Don't tease me, Alin," Kevin said, hiding his face again. "He said he'll make you his. Get your ass ready, Kev. I'll tell your mom you stayed over at mine," Alin winked.

"Alin!!!" Kevin shouted but held her hand. "Promise me if Mom calls, you'll tell her I'm at your place." Alin smiled. "Of course, Kev. Consider it done. Now go home and get ready for your date. Alex will be waiting for his guy," she said, running out of the school to avoid Kevin's wrath.

"Alin!!!" Kevin shouted before he decided to go home and get ready. After much deliberation, he chose a white woolen t-shirt tucked into black pants with a brown blazer. He wore a dark brown belt and a matching watch, applied some perfume, and headed to the kitchen. "Mom, I'll be at Alin's. We need to do some research for a project. I might sleep over or come home late," he told his mother.

"Okay, honey. Don't forget to have dinner. I know you'll skip it if you have too much work. See you," his mother replied. Kevin nodded and drove back to the school. It was already past 7 PM when he arrived. As he parked the car, he saw another car outside the gate. Alex, looking incredibly handsome, approached him. Alex was wearing a white t-shirt tucked into his tuxedo pants, without the blazer. He chuckled and whispered in Kevin's ear, "You can eye-fuck me later. For now, let's go." Kevin blushed and got into Alex's car
