"When you left the bathroom, I ran after you and saw you picking up your bags," Kevin said softly, his voice laced with concern. He and Alex were curled up on the couch, transformed into a makeshift bed, with Kevin's head nestled against Alex's chest. Alex's left hand gently held Kevin's as he spoke, his tone reassuring. "I thought you were leaving because I said no."

Alex sighed, brushing a gentle kiss on Kevin's hair. "You know I would never leave you, even if you turned me down. I was just putting my bags away since I dropped them as soon as I came in." He looked down at Kevin with warmth in his eyes. "Is there anything else you want to say, love?"

Kevin shook his head, his expression softening. "Thank you for always understanding me. I don't know how to help you when you're struggling, but I want you to come to me. I'll cook for you to make you feel better." Alex chuckled as he nodded before he yawned.

"Love, let's get some sleep. Just because we're done with school doesn't mean you should stay up late. We have exams next week." Kevin nodded, reluctantly getting up from the cozy embrace and shuffling toward his room to change into his pajamas. When he turned around, he noticed Alex was nowhere to be found.

A small frown crossed Kevin's face as he made his way back to the living room, only to find Alex sprawled out on the couch, his hand resting over his face. Kevin tiptoed closer and tugged gently at the hem of Alex's t-shirt.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Alex asked as he sat up, concern etching his features.

"It's uncomfortable to sleep on the couch," Kevin replied, pouting slightly.

Alex shrugged, brushing it off. "It's fine. I don't mind."

Kevin crossed his arms, disbelief flickering in his eyes. "You don't expect me to let you sleep on this couch for two whole months, do you?"

Alex looked at Kevin, confusion knitting his brows. "What?"

With a sigh, Kevin grabbed Alex's hand, leading him toward the bedroom. "Come on. You can sleep on my bed."

Alex hesitated, still puzzled. "Love, wait. You really don't have to—"

"Who said I'll sleep on the couch?" Kevin interrupted, flopping onto the bed. He glanced back to see Alex still standing near the door, looking thoroughly perplexed.

"Come on, don't tell me you're being a dummy," Kevin teased, rolling his eyes.

Finally, the realization hit Alex. "Oh my gosh, that's what you meant! I was so confused when you brought me to your bedroom and laid on the bed."

Kevin chuckled, shaking his head. "Goodnight, love." He snuggled into Alex's side, wrapping his arms around him.

"Nightly night. I love you," Alex whispered, placing a gentle kiss on Kevin's lips. Kevin eyes fluttering closed as he drifted off to sleep. Meanwhile, Alex stayed awake for a moment longer, gazing down at Kevin, his heart swelling with affection. "I must have hit the jackpot with you," he mused, before letting the sleep take over himself.

It was 5 in the morning when Kevin stirred awake, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. He always woke up at this hour, and today was no different. A smile crept onto his face as he took in the sight of Alex beside him, his breath steady and peaceful. Kevin traced his fingertip along Alex's features, marveling at their perfection.

"Why is your face so perfect?" he whispered, smiling to himself.

After a while, he got up and padded to the bathroom, brushing his teeth and finishing up his morning routine. He headed to the kitchen, retrieving strawberries and milk from the fridge to whip up a quick strawberry milkshake. Once he was satisfied with his drink, he tidied up the apartment before returning to the bedroom.

It was nearly 5:50 a.m., and Alex was still sleeping. Knowing his boyfriend usually took longer to wake up, Kevin settled on the bed beside him and opened his laptop, diving into his first study session.

Time slipped by, and Kevin finished his session, closing his laptop with a satisfied sigh. It was almost 8:30 a.m. now, and he leaned over, gently blowing air onto Alex's face in a playful attempt to rouse him. "Love, wake up," he said softly. "It's 8:30; you need to study too."

Alex's eyes fluttered open, a lazy smile spreading across his face. "I was already up, love," he said, grinning. "I was just admiring you. You look so focused and cute while studying." He sat up and pulled Kevin with him.

"If you lay down again, you'll fall asleep!" Alex playfully scolded.

Kevin nodded, getting up. "I'm going to take a shower. What about you?"

"I think I'll make you some breakfast. What do you want?" Alex replied, stretching as they both got out of bed.

"I already had a strawberry milkshake, but I'd love some scrambled eggs and bacon."

"Okay then, get ready, and we'll have breakfast together," Alex said, flashing a smile.

Kevin walked over, wrapping his arms around Alex for a moment and planting a soft kiss on his lips. "You can brush your teeth first. I'll take a shower after."

"Okay!" Alex said, quickly brushing his teeth before heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. He turned on some soft music as he cooked the bacon and scrambled eggs.

Moments later, Kevin emerged from the bathroom, feeling refreshed. "It smells amazing," he commented as he took a seat at the table.

"You smell good too," Alex replied, joining him and placing a plate in front of Kevin. "Thanks for the breakfast."

"Anytime," Alex replied, and they chatted about their plans while eating.

"What are you going to do after breakfast?" Kevin asked.

"I'll take a shower and then study," Alex said.

"Then you can shower first, and I'll wash the dishes so we can study together," Kevin offered, rising to clear the table.

"Okay, I'll be right back," Alex said, disappearing into the bedroom.

While Alex was in the bathroom, Kevin quickly washed the dishes and filled up his water bottle for studying.

Soon, Alex returned, fully dressed and ready for the day. "It's almost 10 a.m.," he noted, grabbing his books from his bag.

"You can study anywhere you like. I'll be here," Kevin said, settling into his chair at the desk.

Alex nodded, taking his books with him. "Then I'll be in the living room. Call me if you need anything or if you have a question."

"Will do," Kevin replied, a smile tugging at his lips.

Alex leaned in, giving Kevin a soft kiss on the hair. "Study hard, love. Let's go out for lunch after."

Kevin hesitated, considering. "Or we could get a delivery and watch a movie while we eat."
Alex frowned slightly, clearly dissatisfied with the idea. "Love, if we go out, we can get some fresh air too. Watching a movie could distract you from studying."

Understanding, Kevin nodded. "Okay then, let's go out to eat," he said, his smile returning as Alex headed toward the living room.
