At 5 a.m., Kevin had already woken up, shaking Alex's shoulder. "Love, wake up. You told me to get up early, but you're still in bed," he teased as Alex groaned, rubbing his eyes and squinting at the clock that read 05:05 a.m., Kevin stood by the bed, holding Alex's towel and underwear. "Go take a shower. I'll make breakfast in the meantime," Kevin said, placing the clothes on Alex's lap before turning to leave the room.

Just as he was about to exit, Alex caught his hand. "Wait, let's eat out," he suggested lazily. Kevin raised an eyebrow, considering it. "Fine, I'll just scroll through my phone while you shower," Kevin said, but Alex frowned.

"We could shower together... save time and water," Alex added with a mischievous smirk. Kevin's eyes widened, and his face immediately flushed. He pulled his hand back, smacking Alex lightly on the shoulder. "You're so dirty-minded! Just go shower," Kevin scolded.

Alex raised his hands in mock surrender. "I didn't mean anything by it! What were you thinking?" he teased back, causing Kevin's blush to deepen. "See, you're the dirty-minded one," Alex chuckled, grabbing his clothes and rushing into the bathroom before Kevin could respond. But just as quickly, he peeked his head out of the door again, grinning. "Last chance—coming in or not?"

Kevin, already red-faced, waved him off, heading out of the room, laughing under his breath.

After a while, when Alex emerged from the bathroom, he was dressed in a mustard gold turtleneck and slim beige pants. A black belt and leather watch completed the look, perfectly coordinated.

Kevin, still lounging in the living room, was munching on some snacks when Alex approached. "You can go shower now," Alex said.

Kevin glanced up and froze for a second. "You look amazing," he whispered, standing up. "Can I borrow some of your good looks? Just for today," he teased, his eyes sparkling.
Alex smirked. "No need to borrow—everything I have is yours," he replied, winking.

Kevin grinned, brushing it off before heading to take his own shower. When he came back, he wore a crisp white shirt with a black sleeveless vest, paired with black pants. Rolling up his sleeves as he entered the room, Alex was quick to compliment, "You look sexy."

Kevin, smiling to himself, walked over and wrapped his arms around Alex's neck. "Sexy, huh?" he teased.

Alex gulped, his hands finding Kevin's waist. "Always."

They kissed, slowly at first, their lips finding a rhythm, but the kiss quickly deepened. Alex's hands moved to cradle Kevin's face while Kevin's fingers tangled in Alex's hair, pulling him closer. As Alex led Kevin toward the bed, Alex puts his leg in between Kevin's thighs pushing them up which caused Kevin to moan into his mouth.

Alex pushes his tongue inside Kevin's to which Kevin's right hand made its way toward Alex's hair pushing it hard trying to deepen the kiss as much as it can, both of them were lost in this kiss, they felt as if the time has been put into an hourglass and if they pulled away that hourglass will shatter bring them back to the reality.

Alex slowly withdraws from the kiss while touching their foreheads together, both of them were breathing heavily, both of them were looking into each other's eyes not breaking eye contact, unaware of time until Kevin's alarm jolted them back to reality.

Beep, beep.

They broke apart, still catching their breath. "It's already 6 a.m.," Kevin mumbled, sitting up and running a hand through his hair. "We should probably get going."

Alex nodded, reluctantly standing as Kevin went to grab his shoes.

They locked up the condo and made their way down to the basement where Alex's car was parked. "Are you excited for the surprise?" Alex asked as they settled in.

"Yes and no," Kevin admitted, buckling his seatbelt. "Yes because I'm with you, but no because... I'm not a huge fan of surprises," he said with a small laugh.

Alex squeezed Kevin's hand reassuringly as he drove. "You'll love this one. Trust me."

An hour later, Alex parked in an open field. Kevin's eyes widened as he saw a large van parked nearby, attached to a massive hot air balloon. "What... What is this?" Kevin asked, his voice soft with emotion.

Alex smiled warmly, taking Kevin's hand in his. "Alin told me you've always wanted to ride a hot air balloon. So, I figured I'd make that dream come true."

Tears welled up in Kevin's eyes as he covered his face with his hands. "You're too good to me," he said, his voice breaking. Alex immediately pulled him into a tight hug, rubbing his back gently. "No tears, love. This is supposed to be a happy moment," Alex whispered, pressing a kiss to Kevin's temple.

Kevin nodded, wiping his tears away with a laugh. "Let's do this!"

They boarded the balloon, hand in hand, and soon it lifted off the ground, soaring into the clear morning sky. Kevin couldn't stop admiring the view. "It's so beautiful," he whispered in awe, taking in the vast landscape stretching beneath them.

But when he turned to comment on the scenery, he found Alex unusually quiet. Alex stood in front of him, holding a small box in his hands. Kevin's heart skipped a beat.

"Kevin," Alex began softly, "I know we haven't been together for a long time, but every moment with you feels right. We've had our ups and downs, but I'm certain I want my future to be with you. We're still young, but I want to give you this promise ring as a symbol of my love and my commitment to you. One day, I'll marry you."

Tears streamed down Kevin's face as Alex slipped the ring onto his finger. Kevin couldn't find the words, but he didn't need to. He pulled Alex into a tight hug. "I love you," Kevin whispered against Alex's shoulder. "I'll wait for that day, no matter how long it takes."

Alex smiled, pulling away just enough to look into Kevin's eyes. "I promise, you won't have to wait too long."

And with that, they kissed, the morning sun casting a golden light around them as the hot air balloon floated peacefully above the world below. It was their moment, filled with love, promises, and hope—unaware of the storm that was quietly brewing on the horizon.
