They finished eating thier meal and decided it was time to sleep.
Sunstone went and blew out the torch lamp, and dropped the leaf blinds over the window. When he did, a calming green tint Illuminated by the three shining moons fell over the still darkness of the cave.
Sunstone yawned. He had gotten up early, so he was absolutely exhausted. "Good night guys." He said, crawling into his bed that he called. "It was nice meeting you all."
"You too, Sunstone." Reef said.
"Indeed." Radiance said.
"Yeppers." Viper said, yawning.
"It was wonderful meeting you as well, Sunstone" Lunarpool said, laying down.
"I was indeed." Snowbird said yawning as well.
"Mhm." Corroborre said, already half asleep.
Sunstone lowered his head, laying it down on the soft mattress. He covered himself with the quilt, and got comfortable.
The rising and falling of his clawmates breaths rang through the cave. Crickets chirped, owls hooted. But it didn't disturb the stillness and calmness of the room, it only made it more serene.
While Sunstone was sure his clawmates were sleeping, he sat there, wide awake, staring at the ceiling, thinking. Thinking about Viper. Why he was so drawn to her. Why he liked how she was so much. He thought about how she had great features, a wonderful personality, lots of wonderful things.
Why am I so drawn to her..? Why am I drawn to her like a moth to a flame? Why do I think about her so much? WHAT IS THIS FEELING?!! he thought.
He put his talons on his eyes. Why. Why was he feeling these things about her? What is the feeling??
He sighed quietly. Laying face up to the ceiling. He had figured the first night here would be difficult to sleep. He packed sleeping herbs in case. The herbs were in his bag. He would have to get up and get his bag...
He didn't want to wake anyone. But he just could not sleep. His thoughts wouldn't let him.
He sneakily uncovered himself, and rose up from his bed. He crept from his bed, avoiding his clawmates beds. He found his bag, and started quietly digging through it.
Where are those stupid herbs? He thought, digging around in the bag. There they are. He grabbed the large jar of sleeping herbs, and popped two in his mouth. He squinted his eyes at the bitter taste of the herbs, but swallowed them quickly because he wanted to sleep.
He crept back to his bed, once again avoiding making a sound or stepping on someone's bed. He made it to his bed, and covered up once again.
He layed there for a few minutes, and the herbs started kicking in.
His eyes became droopy and his thoughts became more fuzzled. He was become more and more tired.
Soon, his eyelids were to heavy to keep up, and they slowly lowered covering his eyes. His thoughts fuzzled away, slowly fading away into nothingness.
He was in half asleep, nearly asleep, finally, he had fallen completely asleep.
The rising and falling of the dragonets breaths filled the room, all of the dragons asleep.
The night continued on, the crickets chirping through the silent serenity of the night.

This chapter was nice. Sorry it was such a short chapter. I'm slowly but surely running out of writing motivation. I have written 6 CHAPTERS in 2 DAYS. *sigh* it's a hassle lol!! But anything for people who like my book so far! I hope you, the reader, are loving this seiries so far. I'm hoping to maybe make a whole seiries about these dragonets here. And you never know! Maybe more characters will pop up as we go! But anyway, If you're loving it so far, consider voting a star and adding it to your library. And, if you wouldn't mind, drop a comment on what part you like best!!
Toodles!
