Sunstone felt the cool breeze on his scales. It was starting to cool down in Pyrrhia. Fall was coming. Sunstone wasn't mad about it though, he liked the fall season.
"Where are we gonna go?" Lunarpool asked. "We just ran away from school!" He added. "Ohh... my parents are going to kill me..."
"Sunstone, what's your plan?" Viper asked. She looked at him with her sparkling yellow eyes.
Sunstone could see the hint of worry and fear in her fierce, strong-willed eyes.
He tensed. He actually didn't know what to do next. They had left behind everything at the school, and they couldn't just camp out anywhere with no food or water or a place to sleep.
He thought for a moment.
"Maybe we could go to one of the kingdoms?" He suggested.
"What kingdom though?" Corroborre said.
"I don't know..." he said.
"Can we find somewhere to rest our wings? My wings are tired and I also can barely think while flying at the same time." Reef suggested with a hint of exhaustion.
"Sorry, Reef. I would fly for myself but that's sort of impossible..." Sunstone said a bit apologetically and a bit jokingly.
"It's fine Sunstone, it's not your fault that you can't." Reef said.
Sunstone smiled. "Hey there's a homey looking little cave over there!" He said, pointing.
They all looked at the cave. It had some wood in it as if someone had camped out in it before then left before they burned their entire wood supply. It was enough to last a whole night. They won't be staying a whole night though. Hopefully.
They swooped down, landing in front of the cave.
Sunstone hopped off Reef's back, walking into the cave.
Nice and roomy at least. Enough for seven dragons. He thought.
Sunstone sat the logs up and lit a fire, lighting up the dim interior of the cave.
The rest walked in and found a spot to sit.
"So, what kingdom should we squat at?" Sunstone asked.
Reef shrugged. "Well sea kingdom is off limits.." he said.
"Please not sky kingdom." Sunstone begged them.
"Sandwing kingdom, I don't know.. there are a bunch of scary dragons there, and I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt there. So I guess we can't go there." Viper said, not even a small hint of sadness in her voice about not going to the sand kingdom.
"Well Icewings live in freezing temperatures, and I'm sure you guys won't like that.." Snowbird said.
Sunstone nodded.
"Well what about mud kingdom?" Corroborre said.
"NOPE. MY MOM LIVES THERE. AND SHE WILL NOT BE HAPPY. NOPE. NO." Sunstone said.
"Okay then.." Corroborre said.
"Well most nightwings live with the rainwings, and lots in the city of night." Lunarpool suggested.
"I think the rainforest will be the best place to go." Radiance boasted.
"Nightwing city is good to!" Lunarpool argued.
"Not as good as rainwings. My mother will be ever so welcoming for you guys! Much more than the night city." She said with a roll of her eyes.
"WHA- NO!" Lunarpool said.
"Chill out guys." Sunstone said. "Let's just go to the rainforest, okay?"
"Ha!" Radiance said smugly.
"Grmmmm.." Lunarpool growled. He huffed. "Alright."
"Great!" Sunstone said. "Why not just head there now?"
"I guess." Reef said. "But your riding on SOMEBODY ELSE'S back this time!"
"Okay!" Sunstone said with a laugh.
"I guess you can ride on mine. I'm alot bigger than Reef." Corroborre said.
Sunstone smiled. It's funny to think that the dragons that he thought would hate him because of his lack of wings is letting him ride on thier backs because of his lack of wings to help him.
"Alright. Ready to go guys?" Viper asked.
"Yep!" They all said.
They all went out of the cave. Sunstone hopped onto Corroborres wide back and they all took off toward the rainforest. It's right beside the mud kingdom, and he lived by it. Sometimes he would see an occasional lost monkey wandering through the swamp.

"We're gonna have to fly clear of Jade mountain. We don't want all the brainwashed dragons coming after us again." Corroborre said with a shudder.
"We could probably go about 4 miles north then curve around it to the rainforest." Sunstone said. He pointed strait ahead. "There it is. Let's curve around it."
They all curved around the mountain. They were nearly caught once, flying a little to close to the campus.
They flew for what felt like to long to Sunstone. He wasn't the one flying though, so he couldn't say anything about it.
They flew downwards to the rainforest, touching down on the squelching edge of the moist dirt.
"Oooh I like this." Corroborre said happily. "It's like mud. But a lot cooler."
"I personally do not like it..." Snowbird said while shaking mud off his talons.
"Oh well, you're going to have to deal with it until we're not on the run from a bunch of brainwashed students." Radiance said. "And not to fear, my mother will surely be ever so welcoming towards you guys! As long as she know your my friends.." She muttered.
"Well let's go in." Reef suggested. He started to walk, then a popping noise came from the trees.
"Guh-" Reef said in surprise. "What the.." he said, as if he was.. slowing down. "What.. is thi..." he fell to the ground, tranquilized.
Viper let out a shriek so loud it made birds in the trees flutter away in surprise.
Sunstone rushed to Reef as fast as he could.
"Are you okay?" He shouted, panicking. "Reef! Reef answer me, please!"
"Shoot. Tranquilizer darts. Good security, but majorly annoying when you have to tote the traquilized dragon around before they wake up." Radiance said with a bit of an annoyed tone.
"What?" Sunstone said. "Why would they have that?"
"To keep intruders out, of course!" She said. "Can't have some kind of sick dragon coming to do something bad to the rainwings, or the forest, or my mother." She added with a shrug.
"Pop!" came from the trees once again
"That- Ack-!" Sunstone yelped as a sharp poke stabbed him in the shoulder. He look at it. Tranquilizer. I'm next. He thought, but his thoughts were already fizzing out to a fuzz.
Everything became blurry hard to see, muffled, legs getting weak.
"Someone... I.. help me.." he stuttered.
He could faintly hear Viper shriek and thud to the ground. Her little body couldn't fight it off as good as his bigger body could.
"Vi.. per!!" He slurred. "N.. no..."everything slowly faded to black, and his thoughts turned in to fuzz, and the last thing he could feel was his body thudding onto the ground.
