Jenna walked into the room, looking around and seeing all the sad and crying families. She walked to the glass window as she waited impatiently. Jenna wanted to see him; no, she needed to see him. She put her head into her hands, letting out yet another long sigh. She felt so defeated by all this mess. She wanted to cry so foul, but she could hear his stupid voice in the back of her head: "Don't cry, baby girl."

A clicking noise was heard from the door. She looked up and in walked him. He seemed so angry, with this mug look on his face. Her face softened as soon as she saw him. She hated that about herself, but she couldn't stay mad at him for long.

He looked around until his eyes landed on her, and his once-mugged look turned into a sad expression. He could tell just by looking at her that she was stressed and wanted to cry. He knew it was all his fault. He walked up to the booth, took a seat, and they both looked at each other before picking up the phones.

"How are you?" she asked him. He chuckled a little. He never understood why she was always so kind to him. He knew he deserved to be yelled at, but she never yelled. She never got mad. He loved that about her. "I'm good. How are you, Babygirl? You are hanging in there?" he asked, looking at her deep in her eyes. He could tell she wasn't okay just by the look in her eyes.

She sighed and dropped her head. At that moment, she couldn't hold in anymore. When she looked up at him, tears were rolling down her face. His face softened. "What's wrong, babe?" he said in a soft tone. He knew he was at fault for the tears. "Talk to me, Jen," he said again.

"How long will you be in this time?" she asked. She knew he wouldn't tell her. "I don't know." He simply said he didn't. He didn't know anything, yet he just knew his trial date. She looked at him in the eyes, trying to find something to tell her he was lying, but she couldn't find anything. "Babe, I promise when I get out, I'm going to change."

She chuckled a little to herself. She had heard that before; it was always the exact words with him, but she didn't want to listen to them this time. She wanted him to change, but she knew deep down he was never going to change. His life was all about the "Family Business." He didn't know anything else; she knew it. "You believe me? Please tell me you believe me," he said, touching the glass. She looked at his hand and up at him.

She looked deep into his eyes and put her hands on the glass. Also, he smiled at her. He was happy she was willing to stick around for him. "Please don't prove me right," she said, looking at him. "I love you with everything in me, but you can't keep doing this to me. I don't care about your family business anymore." she said, moving her hand from the window. "all I care about is you.... but I can't take the embarrassment anymore, Arias." she said before hanging the phone up loo, king at him one last time before she got up and walked out the room.

Arias didn't fight her on this. He knew he fucked up the big time. He knew how much she hated this lifestyle, and she put up with it for six years. All he could do was watch her walk out that door. He knew he wasn't letting her go that easy. "let's go," the guard said, holding the door. Arias got up, taking one last look at the door before being pushed into the hallway.

Jenna walked down the hallway with tears in her eyes. As she made it outside, she stopped, kicked a trash can nearby, and screamed. Some people stared at her weirdly, but she didn't care. She needed to let that out. She got herself together and walked to the car. She looked at all her things packed up in the car, pulled the Sunvisor down, and looked at herself. "Stay strong," she said. She wiped her eyes, started the car, and drove off...
