Epilogue

2 Months Later

Imogen

Ari and Josh's wedding ceremony could not have been more perfect. I must say, after the stress of planning this event, it really did turn out beautifully. That's what happens when you have a lot of money and power though – things just work out a little easier for you.

We all cheer wildly as Ari and Josh make their grand entrance to their after-party. Anyone who is anyone is here. At first, it started out small. Only family, and close friends. It turns out when you're a Donnelly, you don't have a small family, or a small group of close friends.

There are lots of familiar faces at this event.

All the Donnellys, Marinos, Fallons, Yenins, Callahans, Tomlins, Murphys, Carmichaels, Carozzas, Morettis, Sokolovs, Balandins, Semenovs, and then some. A bunch of the Black Wolves came too. At the end of the day, I wouldn't call almost 300 people a "small event."

Matteo Marino spared no expense for his granddaughter, buying out the whole resort so everyone could enjoy the trip. Uncle Ronan and Uncle Cal have plenty of money, but I think everyone knows when to pick their battles when it comes to Ariana's Grandpa Matteo.

The wedding is a big deal – it's bringing together three of the most powerful families in the world. And that isn't lost on anyone here.

Ari looks stunning in her custom white dress made by Kailey Murphy – the queen of the Boston Irish family. Ari and Josh look so happy as they take to the center of the dancefloor for their first dance.

Josh looks at Ari like there is no one else within a thousand mile radius. Ari looks at Josh with the biggest, most genuine smile. They've been in love for ages and it's nice to see them together and happy like this.

Some may say they're young, but when you know what you want, who can blame you?

Trevor sits beside me, watching raptly.

This is his first big wedding, and he keeps asking when the Chicken Dance will start. I try to gently explain that I don't think Ariana Donnelly, well, now Ariana Callahan – would ever allow the Chicken Dance to appear on her wedding playlist.

My eyes wander around the tables and land on Aleks.

He's sitting with his family and some of the Yenins. He's staring back at me with a soft smile on his face. He winks at me and I feel the warmth radiating through my body at the small gesture.

After the first dance is the father-daughter dance. Ronan joins Ari on the dance floor. He's beaming proudly, so clearly happy for his daughter. He kisses her cheek and they chat quietly as the music swells around them.

"Are you and Dad going to dance together at your wedding?" Trevor asks innocently.

Dad gives me a look as my cheeks go hot.

"When the time comes..." I mutter.

Trevor frowns. "Soon, right? I mean, Aleks and you are together so that means you're getting married."

"I'm 19," I grumble.

"So is Ari," Trevor says, seeming confused.

"Some people like to date for a bit before getting married," Mom gently explains.
