the call

~y/n's pov~

My phone vibrated away on the kitchen counter and I picked it up. No caller ID, it read. Weird, wonder who this is. 

"Hello?" I asked, expecting it to be a spam call.  I started looking around the lounge for my backpack. "Hey there, is this y/n y/l/n?" a male voice asked. 

"Yes . . . who is this?" I asked, very confused. "Hi y/n, this is Anthony. Anthony Russo. We're here in reply to your audition for the character Autumn Rogers?" Ouch. I hit my head on the coffee table looking for the bag. 

"Wait, what?" I asked, processing. Why are they calling me? "We just want to say, me and Joe loved your audition and would love for you to join the mcu. What do you say?" Anthony asked. "I-I don't know what to say! Um, yes! Please! I'd love to!" I exclaimed. I could hear Anthony chuckle. "My agents will contact you later today with the paperwork and everything, and we'll be in touch for when to meet up. Anyways, looking forward to working with you." "Yes, you too! Again, thank you!" I said. The phone call ended and I stood there in shock. I was going to be in a marvel movie!

~time skip~

Today is my first day on the set. I've meet up with the Russo brothers many times now since the call, but today is going to be my first day meeting the rest of the cast. I was so excited. I've been waiting for this all week, it was hard to focus in school. 

I've always wanted to be in the marvel movies after seeing the first iron man movie when I was ten. I've done a few small acting roles in some movies and shows, like having a small cameo as Hermione's younger sister in the Deathly Hallows, and also a few lines in the movie pitch perfect. I'm most known for playing in the Nickelodeon show iCarly. yes, I was a Nickelodeon kid, anyways. I've had some main roles in some other stuff but nothing as big as Marvel. 

My mum dropped me off to the address that Anthony gave me. "Alright have fun babe, text me when to pick you up, Ill be doing the paperwork with your agent alright?" she said, kissing me on the forehead. "Thank you so much mum, love you!" I said and hopped out the car looking at the site.

There were a few big white warehouses in the left corner of the land, and at the far right corner were rows of white trailers for the crew and cast. There were some massive cranes and lighting towers, enormous cameras and safety wires for stunts. Not to mention the hundreds of crew members bustling around getting ready to start working. This was the biggest and coolest set I've been on. I've been to many sets you know as an actor, but nothing like this. Honestly a little bit overwhelming seeing everything and watching everyone bustle around. Whoops I probably looked a bit weird standing there in awe but then two men, Joe and Anthony walked towards me and greeted me warmly. 

"Hey y/n, come with us, the rest of the cast cant wait to meet you." Joe said. "But first well just show you around the place alright?" Anthony exclaimed. They gave me a quick tour of the site, what trailer is mine, where I will film the most, where the meetings will be, and the stunt areas. Then they led me to a break room type space in one of the studios, where there were lots of couches and chairs for the whole cast and a table lined with snacks. Seated inside were various members of the cast, and my heart started beating more rapidly. Wow my idols were just sitting in front of me? This is my ten year old self's dream, I can't believe it.

"Hi guys, glad to see you all made it here safely. Here's y/n y/l/n, who will be playing Autumn Rogers." Joe introduced me to the people seated around. 

"Rogers? Isn't that my characters last name?" Chris Evans asked seated on a couch.

"Wow Evans congrats you remembered something." Robert Downey Junior said sarcastically earning a light shove from Chris.
