Lainey's pov
It's nice having a night with the girls after all the drama and stress recently, we all went to watch a movie together. After the movie we went to get ice cream.

"Y'know what would be funny?" Ellie asks. "What?" I ask, the rest of the group staring curiously.
"If I tried to get into that bar over there" she mentions.

Usually I would agree thinking it was funny but after the party incident I disagreed. "I don't think so" I say. Rae agreed.

"Fine" she muttered. I nodded and smiled. Rae looked over at the counter towards a blonde headed guy like she knew him. "You know him?"

"I waved at him at the stoplight, and helped him fix his truck, so kinda" she replies. "What's his name?" Ellie asks.
We laugh and her cheeks turn red.

"Carson, he's 16" she adds. "Hey Carson!" Ellie yelped. Raelynn shook her head and looked down embarrassed.
"Do I know you?" He asks.

"No, but you know Raelynn don't you?" Ellie asks. He nodded walking up behind Rae. "How are you? It's been a minute" he said, Rae nodded.

"It has, you got time to look at my buddy's truck this week? I'll shoot you a call" he asks, Rae's face was bright red as she stared at Ellie.

"Yeah I do, just call the shop" Rae replies. "Shouldn't I call direct?" He asks. "He wants your number Rae" I mention. "Sorry she's slow" I say again.

"All good, here just put it in my phone" he says, referring to her number. She stared at us and hesitated putting her number in his phone.

She did it anyways and handed it back to him. "I'll call you in the next week or so" he mentions.
"Nice seeing you again" he says. "Nice seeing you too" she blurts.

As he walks off she death stares us both. "Your kidding me!" She exclaims. "You got his number! He's cute Rae" Ellie adds.

"He is, but I wasn't expecting his number!" She mentions. "Well, you got it" Ellie adds. We walked out and waited for Morgan to pick us up. He pulled up and we all hopped in.

"Y'all have a good time?" He asks. "Yep, Rae got a guys number" Ellie teased. "Woah, your daddy alright with that?" He asks.

Raelynn stared at Ellie. "He needed his buddy's truck fixed, he knew me from the shop" she explains. Morgan nodded.

"Speaking of that, I've got a serious coolant leak coming from my Chevy, what could that be?" He asks.
"Possibly a radiator, just replaced indies a couple days ago" she explains.

"Your smarter than I am, I never could figure the car thing out" Morgan adds. "Well, it all comes from my dad"
She says.

Once I got home, Dad stood in the kitchen drinking a can of beer holding his guitar. "Hey, how was the movie?" He asks.

"Good, Whatchu up too?" I ask. "Just lettin mama cool off, we had a little argument" he explains. I sat down on the couch next to him and listened to the soft melody coming from his guitar.

"So what happened? With mama?" I ask. "Nothing serious, don't worry about it hun" he brushed off.
"Dad, be honest with me, I'm not a kid anymore" I reply.

"Okay, mama was cleaning the kitchen and I sat down without helping her, so basically I was an asshole and said a few things I didn't mean, and now mamas a little upset with me" he explains.

"So you were an asshole? So the anger is valid?" I ask. "Language, but yes" he replies. "Should I go talk to her?" I ask. "I'd let her cool down, just go get some rest" he insists.

"I kinda need to talk to you actually..." I trail off.

"Is everything okay?"

"Me and Indie... we're dating.."

Dads face was shocked but gentle. "You remember the rules of relationships don't you?"

"Responsibility, respect, and maturity, I know dad" I list.

"As long as you follow those rules, it'll be fine, does Morgan know?" He asks, I nod.

"Okay, I'm glad you told me, you should get some sleep" he says. I hugged him and walked towards the hallway stopping when I made it.

"Don't fight around Colt, he's only three" I warn. "We won't honey, I promise, just get some sleep and everything will be okay in the morning" he assures.

I walk to my bedroom and tuck myself into my sheets quickly falling asleep.

Hardy's pov
As I strum my guitar I heard Caleighs voice say my name softly from the hallway. "Yes baby?" I ask.
"Can we talk now?" She asks, I nod patting the seat next to me.

"I was a real asshole to you, and you don't deserve it, I'm really sorry" I say. "I'm not angry at you, it just hurt a little hearing you say those things to me" She explains.

I pulled her close to me and rubbed her head gently. "I don't mean those things, my mouth runs away with me sometimes" I explain. "I know, I forgive you"

"Did Lainey come home?" She asks. "Yes, she's in bed, but she told me something I didn't expect" I say.
"What? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothings wrong, but, her and Indie are dating..." I explain. "Oh, my, I hope to god Morgan's warned him on Y'know"  she asks, my eyes grow with concern.

"I'm sure he did" I reply in a tiny bit of nervousness. "I don't want Lainey pregnant" She stresses. "I know, I know" I add. "We shouldn't worry, I think they'll be fine" I assure.

"I'm gonna get to sleep, you coming?" She asks. "In a minute, just gonna finish this melody" I reply.
"Goodnight i love you" she mumbled. "Love you too" I reply.
